3 years later

I paced back and forth in my room, my body tense.

How do people do this?

I was standing there getting ready to ask my soul mate to marry me.

I was with Phoenix, Hydra, Landon (her guy best friend, even if I still don't like her having a male one), and Leo.

"You're making me anxious and I'm not even doing it, so sit down," Landon said.

"No," I complained.

Hydra casts a water ball in his hand and says, "Sit down pretty boy, or I'll spoil your little expensive suit."

"Okay," I muttered.

"If you hurt her, I'll bury you with that ring." Phoenix smiles

I observed her as she made her way outside and up the garden's stone steps, where I was waiting for her.

She looks alluring wearing a mid-thigh-length sparkly black dress and buckled gold heels. A few stray hairs in her bun that fan out around her face.

She says, "Hey, baby."

I gave her a hug and said, "Hey, love."

I took her by the arm, led her to the table, drew out a chair for her, and kissed her on the forehead.

"You look stunning as always," I say.

"Thank you, and you don't like yourself too bad," she says with blush.

We talked while eating fettuccini Alfredo. We ate till we were stuffed and laughed until our cheeks hurt.

The expensive trips and events don't bother me. I merely like these straightforward moments we share. Whether it's a romantic supper for two or a movie night in with popcorn.

Remember how you told me Orion was your favorite constellation on our first date, which took place on top of a hill? I grinned

She retorted, "And yours was Taurus."

She remarks, "Even though it was nearly three years ago, it still seems like yesterday."

I hum in unison.

I got to my feet and knelt down in front of her. I snuck out the tiny velvet box, opened it, and the most stunning jewel was inside. A large diamond was perched on a thin silver band that was also covered in tiny diamonds.

"When I met you,I had no idea we would be here,I had not even pictured myself thinking of doing this. Even though we've been through the most together,all the fights,disagreements,sad times together and apart,I'm glad today they were all worth it. Because I love you. I love you with all your flaws. Your insecurities and overthinking make you who you are. And I for sure love who you are. I care for you so much and I want to make you happy always and forever. Having you by my side has been the best thing to happen in my life. No matter the circumstances,no matter how far apart I am,I'll always come back to you every single time without a second thought. Which is why I want to ask you this major question:Will you marry me?" I spoke

She was so shocked that her eyes were sparkling with tears.

"Yes," she murmured.

"Yes?" I asked.

"Yes,yes,yes!" She yelled

As I put the ring on her finger, excitement flooded my heart. I lifted her up and gave her a passionate kiss while spinning around.

She announces, shocked, "We're getting married."

"Yes, Princess," I replied.

My Queen. Princess I. My heart. My soulmate. My baby. my fiancée My everything.
