Casey was one of the many sheriff deputies that had been called out of sleep, in order to help with the ten-car pileup and anyone who was trained in first aide was also sent to the very much currently swamped, Beacon Hills Memorial Hospital.

Casey hadn't even bothered to grab her uniform. She had her cell phone, her radio, her badge and then her gun. "You okay?" Derek asked as she had gotten up quickly and Casey was rubbing the remaining sleep out of her eyes.

"My job beckons. Ten-car pileup and I'm on hospital duty. I got... and also, I finished my EMT training a few months before Laura came back to town." Casey said and she grabbed a jacket. "If I leave the window open?"

"Yeah." Derek said and she nodded slightly before Casey was racing real quickly down the stairs and she ran out of the front door.

"Casey! Thank god. Sheriff Stilinski, he told me that you were coming. It is really good to see you kid." Melissa McCall stated and Casey nodded.

"Where can I help?" Casey asked.

"You remember how to set up an IV?" Melissa asked and Casey nodded at the words. "Then go to work." She said as Casey nodded, quickly walking over to the nearest sink and washing her hands. Casey got to work quickly, doing her best work under pressure.

Casey was exhausted after almost a full 15 hours of helping out and she looked over at Melissa McCall, who was looking at her. "Kid, you were amazing. How did you stay so calm?" She asked as Casey chuckled a little bit.

"I live in a town where werewolves and all that other stuff live. I have one living in my house and I'm dating one as well, I can't really afford to freak out in situations like this." Casey said and her stomach rumbled as Melissa's food looked great. "That food looks amazing." Casey mumbled.

"You want to share?" Melissa asked and Casey looked at her. "You rolled right out of bed to come here to help us, didn't you? The least I can do, is share my food with you." She said and Casey smiled a little bit at her.

"Thank you, Mrs. McCall." Casey murmured as she grabbed a fork and dug into the rice, as they both ate like there was no more meals and soon, it was all gone.

"Casey? Just call me Melissa now, please, you aren't a kid anymore in anyone's mind." Melissa remarked at her as Casey nodded a little bit. "You need to go home and get more sleep now, kid." Melissa said as Casey's nod was clear and she yawned.

Casey pulled out her phone and surprisingly when she called him, the phone, it just went straight to Derek's voicemail. "Weird." Casey murmured as she dialed Tye's number as he was picking up at once. "Hey T, can I get a ride? I'm way too tired to drive home, I just don't want to crash." Casey said.

"I'll be there in five." Tye mumbled as Casey was pacing outside of the place and just trying to stay awake. Tye ran up to her, as he held out his hands for her car keys. "Why didn't you just call Derek?" Tye asked as he drove Casey's SUV and she looked at him.

"His cell phone went straight to voicemail. Not exactly normal for him, but I figured that he might be sleeping or something. Or, maybe his phone is dead." Casey murmured and by the time they had gotten home, she was sleeping soundly in the car.
