"The Sword and the Spirit"
____________________________

Casey was reluctantly working with Gerard and Chris Argent, aiming her preferred Glock 19 ahead, liking to be prepared for any possible potential threats to any of them, any at all that could be coming their way. Even, if it came from one of their own.

"What is that?" Chris asked as Gerard had moved away a bit to touch the wall for a moment, only to come back with a sort of oily black... stuff on his fingers.

"You could or might, call it a fingerprint." Gerard explained and Casey continued ahead. "You know, Casey, it is very strange to me how nobody could get into your house... But a fire was set inside of your room." Casey stopped at the words and her hands tightened around the gun.

"What do you care?" Casey signed sharply as she felt her pain rising out of the ashes, that she had forced it away and into, simply just trying to lock it all away.

"I just find it curious. After all, the only people that were allowed to be in your room, were all werewolves--" Casey turned and swiftly, she pressed the loaded gun against Gerard's forehead as he was raising his eyebrows. "Testy, I see. Or is that just the hormones?" He asks.

"Casey." Chris' voice interrupted it and Casey was shaking her head at his words. "Casey, I know you are upset, but we need him." Chris said and she stared at Gerard for a second, before she lowered the gun.

"Isn't their father, the same werewolf who dropped the match that nearly killed you?" Casey's fist connected hard with Gerard's face as he stumbled back. Casey would have hit him again and again, but then she heard something.

Casey turned away from Gerard and she swiftly started to walk, grabbing a second glock and she looked around a bit, before she followed the tapping of something against the wall.

Casey found herself facing Tye, who was looking at her. "Thank god. I was sick of the Argents." She said as he was nodding and swiftly, Chris Argent had followed her. "Correction, I was sick of being, alone, with the Argents." Casey amended and Tye sighed.

"I thought that I smelled something off about the tunnels, so, I came down here to look. I found a grate and frankly, I think that you guys will really want to see this." Tye said and they followed him. Tye crouched onto the tunnel floor and he nodded at the grate.

Casey put away her guns in their holsters as she grabbed for a powerful flashlight, that she always kept on her person, as she turned it on and was stunned at the sight.

There were beetles everywhere and she looked at Chris, who lit up a flare and he dropped it through the grate.

At the heat and the light, the beetles scattered to reveal a bunch of bodies in the grate, amidst the sea of beetles and she looked at him. "Victims of the Beast?" She asked and he nodded and Tye looked at them. "Call it in, Tye, now." She ordered and without any question, Tye did.

Casey was opening her laptop as she was shaking her head. Casey's phone beeped in her pocket and she looked at the cell phone in her pocket.

Casey pulled it out and she checked her messages, scrolling through them quickly and the new ones were now showing up.

Derek: "Are you doing okay? I heard that you found a bunch of bodies. Tye texted me."

"You got out of Beacon Hills, so why are you willingly now asking me, about all of this? You left the town, you left the area, you got out."

Derek: "My little brother, my little cousin, my best friend, my daughter and those unborn kids are still in the town that took everything from my family and also, it made killers out of most of yours. You're still in Beacon Hills, so I pay attention."

"Good to know. But why in the goddamn hell, am I seeing you on a Wanted list again?"

Derek: "Hunters framing me for killing werewolves again, what the hell else is new?"

"Be careful. I really don't want at all, I don't want to have to find you and beat your ass to remind you that you have a family to stay alive for."

Derek: "I know how to survive, Case, I won't make the same mistake again of letting a Berserker sneak up on me."

"Actually, I was referring to you walking straight into gunfire to save Scott. Or when Peter as the Alpha, was able to toss you clearly, into the side of the high school just after, piercing your spinal cord with his claws and making it look like you, were very clearly dead to the rest of us."

Derek: "Love you."

"Love you too, Der."

Casey saw that he had gone off-line and she plugged her phone in, as she was looking at the doorway. Tye was standing there and Casey smiled a bit.

"What are you smiling at?" Tye asked and Casey was shaking her head a bit.

"You just look so much like Derek." It was an honest response and Tye was smiling a little bit.

"Where's Beatrice?" Tye asked.

"With Theo and the other chimeras. I don't know what they're doing, but I've got no texts, so I'm assuming that she is either fighting or on her way and she can't talk at the moment." Casey's swift shrug indicated, that she wasn't really going to be too worried about the girl.

"I'm going to sleep. I haven't properly slept in 4 days." Tye remarked and Casey nodded a bit at the words, as Tye went upstairs and he was silent.

Beatrice was the only one barely injured of the chimeras, as she was casually leaning on the wall, while the others were injured, bleeding and all around, just badly beaten.

"He is not just one blind werewolf with red eyes Theo, he is also the only enhanced alpha remaining. Known as a demon wolf for a reason." Beatrice reminded him.

"Recently re-blinded. Unfortunately, the healing of my eyes by a Dark Druid proved only temporary. A parting gift from my time with Scott McCall. Friend of yours?" Deucalion asked.

"We're just working through some issues." Theo noted and Beatrice was looking at him, right before, her eyes went to Deucalion.

"He knows why he's here. And he knows about the Beast." Tracy said and Beatrice nodded a little.

"Hmm. The Beast of Gevaudan. History's most vicious, most famous werewolf. And you think I'm going to show you how to steal its power."

"I think you are open to negotiation. All you have to do is tell me what you want." Theo said as Beatrice listened to it go on.

"I want his eyes. On the tips of my claws." Deucalion, he snapped out his claws on his left hand, as, he looked at them. "I want the eyes of Scott McCall."
