"Ghosted"
____________

Casey looked over at Beatrice with raised eyebrows, once they heard the plan from Liam. "Steal supplies to build a lightning rod out of the school faculty supplies closet, just hope against all odds, that you can build one of your own properly... Then you have another part of the plan that sucks even more?" Casey asked with Beatrice translating for her, as Liam and Hayden both had little, to no actual understanding of ASL.

"Pretty much. So, will you two help us?" Liam asked as Casey looked over at Beatrice, who was now rather just quietly shaking her head.

"I can't help you. But I am willing to bet real cash, that Casey will." Casey nodded at Beatrice's words, as the hunter looked at them. "But... But, no, I won't help you do this." Beatrice said quietly as she turned on her heels and she went up the stairs.

"So, Casey?" Casey looked over at Liam's hesitant voice and she raised her eyebrows. "You still have that voice app on your phone?" He asked and Casey, she rather calmly just flipped him off at the words.

"This is a fucking terrible plan, of yours. I mean, forget drastic. This is just plain stupidly dangerous." Casey's phone spoke for her and at the words, the teenagers looked at her. "Yes. And this is coming from the supernatural hunter who is engaged to a werewolf with serious problems, showing his own emotions in a healthy way. This is crazy." Casey repeated.

"Almost there. This is the last chance to bail out on this plan." It was Hayden's helpful contribution of those words, that indicated that she was actually in agreement with Casey now.

"If we are even going to stand a chance, we have to do something drastic." Liam noted and Casey was shaking her head, starting to wish she had just kept out of this plan.

"There is drastic and then there is this." Hayden pointed out and Casey nodded, typing quickly as she walked along with them.

"I agree with Hayden." Casey's phone spoke and Liam looked back at her as he raised his eyebrows. "Your guys' plans always border on complete and total idiocy, but this one totally takes the fucking cake for it." Casey noted.

"You are not at all helpful, do you actually know that?" Liam asked and Casey rolled her eyes. "I know, it's not the perfect plan. But we need the bad part of the plan, in order to make the good part work." Liam explained his side of the argument.

"You think she knows that it is a bad plan?" Hayden questioned and Casey scoffed.

"Anyone would know this is a bad plan." Noshiko Yukimura, the heaven kitsune was standing in the tunnel in front of them and she took off the belt and snapped it out, forming the sword out of it. "You brought Casey along for wisdom as you were correct, it was a wise decision. However, you will not listen to her rather wise counsel. Which is why I have to ask you one more time, are you sure you don't wanna change your minds?" Noshiko questioned.

"We don't know what else to do. It is rather like the Ghost Riders, like they are unstoppable." Liam said.

"They are unstoppable. They've been riding the storm and taking souls since long before, I was born." Noshiko said and she looked over to Casey, who had put her guns away.

"Yeah, we won't survive them. Not without your help." Liam referred to the sword and Noshiko looked over at him once more.

"Kira, she was the one who entrusted me with her sword while she's with the Skinwalkers. And now, I'm trusting you because I do believe that she would want me, to do so. However, I agree with Casey on this." Noshiko made her thoughts clear and Casey looked down the way of the tunnel. "Do not mistake these actions, this, for me agreeing with your decision."

"I understand." Liam said and he looked at the sword. "Kira, she just stabbed her sword into the ground, right." He said uncertainty, rather all too clear in his tone of voice.

"If you want to do this, you will have to do it yourself. Once it is done, whatever happens, it will be your responsibility." Noshiko said as Liam took the sword from her and the ancient kitsune left the tunnels.

Liam stabbed the sword into the ground and Casey, she looked calmly over at where the clawed hands were coming and Theo had pulled himself out of the pit.

It only took a split second of Liam's distraction, before Theo had pinned him against the wall with a growl of fury.

A howling roar echoed through the tunnels and Casey threw herself into the wall, as a shape raced past her.

Theo went flying into the wall and Liam's eyes widened as Beatrice was growling as she was shaking her head at the sight of Theo, who was already getting back up again. "Even I didn't think, that you were this stupid." She gestured at Theo, who was looking at them. "Seriously?" She asked.

"We had no other choice." Liam explained and Casey walked over to stand next to Beatrice, glaring over her shoulder at Theo.

"Anyone else, just thinking that we should just send him back right now without delay?" Casey asked through her phone and her hand, Hayden's hand and Beatrice's hands all went up at once.

"I missed you guys too." Theo muttered.

"Go fuck yourself." Beatrice said as her claws disappeared and so did her fangs, as she was shaking her head. "I honestly hope that you know what you are doing with this, Liam." She said.

"Hello to you too." Theo called after her and then without looking back as she walked, she flipped him off as she walked down the tunnel.

"You're lucky that she didn't just kill you. I would have just done it, if I was in her rather unique position." Casey said.

Hayden and Liam had gone ahead and Theo looked at her. "Why are you still here?" He asked and she looked at him, narrowing her eyes. "Why are you helping them and why-why the hell aren't you putting a bullet in my head for what I did?" Theo questioned and Casey pulled out her phone as she typed something into it.

"Because as much as she wanted to pretend like she would have killed you back there, Beatrice won't and frankly, she has already lost enough." Casey's phone spoke and Theo looked at her.

"She is back to being a werewolf, isn't she? I mean just a werewolf. After she absorbed, even just a smaller bit of the Beast's powers." Theo noted and Casey nodded. "That does explain now, why I couldn't really sense her coming down the tunnel." He said as she nodded.

"If you ever hurt her again, Theo Raeken? I will torture you myself, right up until you wish that you were dead."

"I get it." Theo said as Casey got up and further down the hallway with her scent disguised, Beatrice was listening silently to the conversation that they were having. "You think that she'll forgive me?"

"I think she already has. But she isn't one to just spit it out, in a room full of people either."

"True. Is that a Hale thing?" Theo asked and Casey smiled a little bit at the words and she nodded. "Yeah, I kind of thought so." He said as then Beatrice had disappeared, catching up to Liam and Hayden quickly.
