Maaran drove in search of the temple Jenny's grandfather mentioned and found it in the next street. He pulled over the car under a tree and looked back at Jenny who was seated beside Maya holding her palms in a tight grip.
Jenny had a frightened look while she noticed the car was stopped.
Jenny: Bro Ethuku niruthu ninga… Yarachu vanthara poranga.. vandi edunga polam…
Maaran: Bro mothala bayapadatha.. Una Anga irunthu kutitu vantha engaluku… una epadi patharama kutitu poganum nu nala theriyum…
Jenny: Illa bro.. Ungaluku mama pathi therila.. nama Inga irunthu poiyaralam please..
Maaran looked at Maya who blinked her eyes
Maya: Polam di… Ana thatha va paka Venda..
Jenny: pakanum.. ana thatha enga ?
Maya: atho Kovil la irukaru..
She then explained how they met her grandfather before the trio left into the temple. Jenny ran to her grandfather and hugged him sobbing while the old man controlled his tears and consoled her.
Jenny parted from the hug and wiped her tears.

" Sonanga Thangam.. ivunga unaku friend ah irukalam.. Ana enaku una kapatha vantha swamy.. "

Maaran: Thatha.. 6 maasam oh illa 6 varusham.. paasam vechuta.. Ella onu tha.. Jenny Kapatharathu enga kadama..
" Epadiyo ayya.. ini aachu en pullaiku vidivu kaalam vantha seri.. "
Maya: Ava santhosam ah irupa thatha… athuku nan porupu..
" nala iru tha.. Nala iru pa.. "
The older man smiled and blessed both by caressing her head and holding his hands.
Maaran: Seri thatha.. Vanga kelambalam.. Ithuku melayum Inga iruka Venda..
" Ama ayya.. kelambunga.. en Magan engachu vanthara poran"
Jenny: Thatha neengalum vanga nama Inga irunthu polam..
" Illa Swamy nan varala.. nan Inga irukarathu tha seri.. "
Maya: Illa thatha.. Jenny solarathu tha correct uh.. neenga Inga iruka Venda.. vanga nama polam..
" Illa ma.. nan Inga iruntha tha.. Antha padu pavinga enna panalum enaku theriyum.. ungalayum echarika mudiyum.. nan ingaya irukan.. "
Jenny: Venda thatha.. una romba kasta paduthu vanga.. vanthurunga..
" Athu ella palagi pochu tha… Nan athu ella samalichupan… ana nee kasta pada Venda sona kelu.. kelambunga.. "
Even though all the three asked him to accompany them he refused and convinced them instead and sent them back.
Maaran suggested registering a complaint for a safer side and the other two agreed. The trio left for the nearby police station and registered a complaint and when they started driving back to Chennai after getting a confirmation that action will be taken it was six in the evening.
Jenny was silent through the ride hugging Maya's arms and laying on her shoulders. Maya did not want to trouble her so she stayed silent without questioning her.
