Maaran jumped over Maya's house compound and used his spare key to get it. He noticed the light from the guest bedroom that was used as Maya's sewing room was on. He slowly peeked into it and found her settled in front of the machine working on it. He looked at his watch to find the time to be ten past one and sighed.
Maaran: Innum enna panra..
Maya shook with the sudden voice and the pin she was using to fix the fabric hurt her left arm index finger and winced in pain. Maaran was quick to jog and pull her out of the seat and examine her finger which had a drop of blood oozing out. Maya winced and hit his shoulders, still her palm in his hold.
Maya: lusu ah da ne.. aah
Maaran: sorry di…
Maya: un sorry ah thooki kupaila podu.. aah.. she tried to wiggle out of his hold but he caught it.
He quickly wiped the blood with a small piece of clean cloth he found on the table. He brought her finger to his lips when she hissed and sucked it to cool making her gulp while he did it casually. She looked up at him who was examining her finger and gulped again before snatching her hand.
Maya: pothum valikala..

Maya looked at him for a few seconds as if she was reading him.
