Maaran and Maya walked along the street glancing at the shops. Maya turned into a kid, watching everything after so many years. She asked for everything that she laid eyes on and Maaran bought it for her patiently.

Maaran sighed before he shook his head.

Maya grinned and literally ran towards the old lady and sat on the mat. Maaran left to her and she showed her freshly stained left palm. He smiled, shaking his head at how childish she can become.

He questioned when she showed her right palms to the lady.

Maaran stood there glaring at her while she was busy staining her hands.

Maya smiled sheepishly, melting him before he hit the back of her head.

Maya smiled and dragged him along towards the shops.
Maya: Maara… she whined looking at the candy shop.
Maaran: Enna Thean mittai venum.
Maya nodded her head making him chuckle before he bought a few candies for her. Maaran frowned when he noticed her face change the moment she had her third candy.
Maaran: enna di ?
Maya: enaku ithu Venda…
She forced the handful of candies in his hands, confusing him.
Maaran: yen enna aachu ?
Maya: athu nalava illa..
Maaran ate one from the candies and glared at her.
