TW-blood and guts and stuff ig

You dropped to your knees, looming over the body. It became a lot harder for you to breath, choking on your sobs. Your face was wet with blood, sweat, and tears. You held onto her hand, your face on the cold metal of the suit.

Peter landed by you, seeing your body shake. He kneeled beside you, rubbing your back in comfort. You leapt into his arms, holding him tight as you kept on crying. "She can't be gone, this isn't real." You were heaving, you haven't cried this hard since your parents died. "I've lost everyone, Peter. Everyone."

"Not everyone, you have me, the avengers, the rest of the Spider-people. We're all going to be here to help you. We might not have gone through the same circumstance you have, but we've gone through something similar, you can turn to any of us." He comforted, his heart dropping at how you struggled to breathe. "Just take deep breaths."

You finally pulled away from the boy, sniffling. You took in and let out shaky breaths as you casted your eyes over the body. You could've sworn that you heard that maniacal laugh, you jumped onto your feet, spinning around in defense. Your hands were held up in defense. "Where is he?" You sneered, your head shooting towards where you thought he laughed again. Peter caught your hand before you could do anything, forcing you to look him in the eyes.

"Don't do it." His voice was soft. You just clenched your jaw and shook him off, walking away. You tried your best not to cry under the suit, swinging your way to your apartment.

Once you slipped through your window, you stood there for a second. Looking over your desk, your eyes were on the picture of you and your sister. A wave of rage came over you, making you let out a yell and throw off everything on your desk. You hit the desk, causing it to crack in half. You leaned yourself on whatever was left of the desk, wailing. "If you were that upset to see me, you could've said so." You turned at the voice, seeing them sitting on the bed. "Woah, are you okay?" She stood up, coming up to you and opening up her arms for you to hug.

You ran into her arms, sobbing quietly. Your suit had clearly caught her off guard, so you let it deactivate. "I can't do this." You cried out. She led you to the bed, awkwardly, laying with you. "I can't- this isn't real."

"What happened?" She asked, gentle with you, as if you were glass.

"She can't be gone. She just can't." You shook your head in the crook of her neck. She could feel your tears soaking her shirt, but she paid no mind. You just kept on repeating the same phrases, over and over. She decided to just whisper sweet nothings into your ear and try to comfort you.

The exhaust of the fight and crying had finally caught up to you, letting you succumb to slumber. You held her tight, as if she wouldn't be there if you let go in the slightest. Peter slipped through the window, seeing how you were asleep. "What happened?" She whispered to the boy, who just gave her a look, telling her that they'll talk about it later.

(dont ask where the body went.)

You had been convinced to take the day off, just to relax. Peter stayed with you guys, watching movies and shows all day. But right when you awoke, which was at around 3 am, you got back into working on your neutralizer.
