Listen to: Lovers Rock - TV Girl

The mask of your suit was above your mouth, letting you chew on the string of your sweater. You walked around, hands shoved deep into your pockets. "Hey! Can we get a picture?" A man asked, his daughter lingering behind him.

"Of course." You smiled, taking off the sweater and pulling your mask down. You posed with the little girl, her dad taking a few pictures. You waved them goodbye, joy filling your heart as you saw the little girl jumping around.

"That's adorable." You turned to see the girl that you were waiting for. She had a smirk on your face that melted into a smile. You felt your heart flutter. "Didn't know you were good with kids."

"Well, I got used to it, that's for sure." You shrugged, walking alongside her. "Where do you wanna go?" You noticed how she was getting chilly, so you slipped off the sweater you had on and put it on her. She gave you a grateful smile, another fluttery feeling in your stomach.

"Let's grab some food, and then can we go to Central Park?"

The breeze was cool, your legs were dangling over the edge, your mask was off, showing your true smile around the girl. You were eating a taco and nodding along to her as she recalled a story from one of her classes. "Anyways, that was really it. How about you? Anything new to tell me?" You turned to the girl, your mouth filled with taco. You were about to say something, but some of what was in your mouth fell out and onto the streets. She giggled at you while you finally chewed off and swallowed the taco. "You're so weird."

"Whatever." You rolled your eyes playfully. "I don't really have anything new. My life isn't as fun as yours."

She scoffed. "Yeah, as if, you're literally Spiderwoman, is there like no thugs or villains or anything?" You gave her a lopsided grin with the shake of your head.

"We don't have villains, that's all movie stuff." You leaned back, your eyes lingered on the big patch of green surrounded by the dense city before you looked back to Jenna. "All the thugs are the same. Trust me, there's nothing new."

"How about you and Tony? Anything new there?" She pressed, she really wanted to keep hearing you talk. You shook your head. "Seriously?"

"I don't know what you want me to tell you, Jenna." You chuckled, leaning forward to look over the city.

"You're so lucky you can save yourself. I feel like I'm gonna fall at any second." Jenna wanted to lean back, but there was no wall behind you guys. You just laughed and intertwined your fingers with hers.

"We can go down if it's too much." You reassured, scooting closer to her just in case.

"No, it's really nice being up here." She stopped you from rambling. "No matter how scary it is up here, it all goes away when I'm with you." She leaned close, a sweet smile on her lips. You blushed, looking away from her.

"You're so cheesy." You grumbled, but a smile stayed on your face. "But seriously, going around New York and saving people doesn't compare to us. Weirdly enough."

"Look who's cheesy now." You made a mocking face before leaning in and giving her a soft kiss on her lips. She placed her free hand on your cheek, keeping you close to her. "I love you." She whispered, your eyes opened to see her smiling.

"I love you too." You pressed a kiss once more. "Promise to never leave me? No matter how bruised and battered I'll be?"

"Promise not to die on me?" She raised her pinky up, you quickly locked it with yours.

"I promise." You kissed your hand, Jenna doing the same.

"I'll do the same."
