Listen to: Die for You - The Weeknd, Ariana Grande

scream six spoilers! tw for violence, bloods and all that

You found yourself staring at the costume of your brother's. "You have a mask of your own, you know." You looked to the reflection and saw him. Him and his bloodied knit sweater. You've never met him, but there was some part of you that had him as your inner voice.

"Shut up, you died." You mumbled as you lifted your jacket. You pulled out the mask, staring at the splatters of Richie and Amber's blood. "I have a feeling I'm gonna need this soon." You looked back at the reflection.

"Damn right you are." He giggled, his tongue spilling out of his mouth. "Didn't think you were gonna find them out so quick."

You raised your eyebrow at him. "It takes a ghostface to know a ghostface."

"You were never ghostface." He commented, making you roll your eyes.

"I'm talking about you, dipshit. Having a built in ghostface in my mind is pretty useful. Thanks so much for that!"

"No problem." He shrugged, you rolled your eyes, he didn't catch your sarcasm. "Awh, look at us! A genius killer duo! The Machers, genius killer siblings."

"I think the genius part only went to me." You joked, ignoring the way he pouted. "What the fuck is wrong with me, you're literally my imagination. I haven't even met you." The lights turned on, making you turn to see the rest of them. "Oh shit, detective ghostface is here."

"Are ya gonna tell them?"

"I can't do it if he's around." You mumbled to yourself. "Give me time asshole." You hopped down. "Hey guys."

"How did you know about this place?" Kirby asked, narrowing her eyes on you.

"I actually just found this place. I was about to tell you guys, but it seems Gale brought you guys over already." You held in an eye roll when you realized that they weren't going to believe you. "I have an idea on who the killer is. Well, killers." You refused to make eye contact with any of them. "I'd tell you guys, but then, I don't know who to trust."

Everyone seemed to ease up on you guys as they all dispersed and looked around. You sighed softly, walking back to the costumes. You ignored them as they all conversed. You turned to see Sam walking up to her fathers, you being right next to her. You could tell that she was speaking to him, hell, you were facing the same issue.

"Talking to him?" You asked. She gasped and looked to you. "Your dad, I mean."

"Um..."

You just chuckled at her hesitation. "Don't worry, my brother's a dick in my head. Even when I didn't meet him." Your face scrunched up in annoyance. "But, he can be a real big help." They all started to talk about what may be the reasoning for this, but you noticed how Tara seemed to grow uncomfortable. She just walked off, you and Sam looked to each other. She nodded at you, wanting you to go after her. You sent her a thankful smile before walking after the girl.

You saw her take her inhaler as you slowed your pace. "Are you okay?" You asked, making her turn to look at you.

She just crossed her arms, anger written all over her. "Y/n, why don't I get to be a normal person again? Why couldn't we be normal?"

"I- I don't know." You mumbled, pity filling your gut. "I'm sorry."

"I don't wanna be apart of this." She started to frown, eyes filling with tears. You bit your inner cheek as you felt guilt start to rise. "I don't want to be apart of some stupid legacy-"
