Y/n pov

It's been 4 days since our departure. In that time, nothing at all happened. It's just me and Roy... walking. Oum, this is boring. At least have a Grimm come or something.

I was doing much better even if I was bored out of my mind. I had my mask clipped to my belt with a makeshift strap. It was just a vine from a tree, but it worked. Good thing I learned how to improvise, it can save your life in a quick second.

Roy: Why do people say "Make like a tree, and get out"?

...this though is a constant. He keeps asking off the wall bullshit like it's the most sensible question he could ask. It was funny that first day, but now, not so much. I wasn't gonna say nothing though. This was Roy way of trying to alleviate stress.

Y/n: I don't know Roy.... one of the questions science has yet to answer...

Roy: But it has nothing to do with science?

Y/n: Exactly....

Roy gave me "that" look, you know the one. It got me laughing so job well done Roy. We continued on our way northward. Our only goal was to Atlas, and our only way to do that was to get bullhead from the closest village.

Y/n: Hey Roy?

Roy: Yeah?

Y/n: I forget, what's the name of the village we're heading to?

Roy: I don't know, I was following you...

Y/n: .....

Roy: .....

Y/n: ...We're lost, aren't we?

Roy: ... Probably.

Goddammit Roy...

Weiss pov

Father was in a mood today. The only thing I knew was that the man who ran the largest foundry in Atlas had come over. I don't remember the man's name though. But ever since then, father hasn't come out of his office and he's been less than kind with staff.

As I'm turning the corner, I almost bump into Klein. His eyes turned green.

Klein: Ah, snowflake! I hope your day has been well.

I gave a genuine smile at Klein. Klein practically raised me on his own. Father was always to busy to be bothered, and mother has been more of a fly on the wall than anything. Thinking about it is quite depressing but it was the reality I was faced with.

Weiss: Its been well, Klein. I've just been avoiding father since he's in a bad mood.

Kleins eyes changed to red.

Klein: Yes, I'm well aware of how upset that bullock is!

All I could do was giggle at Kleins little outburst. It's sad to say, but I've seen Klein as more of a father than my own.

Kleins eyes changed to yellow.

Klein: Though I do wonder what that Roman Sionis fellow did to upset him so?

Roman Sionis was his name. He owns the largest foundry in Atlas. General Ironwood even made a deal with him that all military assets would be made with metals from his foundry. Mr. Sionis seemed like a man who doesn't like to be told no.

Weiss: Whatever it was must not have been good if it's got father like that.

Klein: Oh, certainly not! But how bad could it be to cause that attitude?
