A/N: Hello, this is kinda important so please read it.

I know I left y'all hanging for a long time. And I won't really return. At least not for a while. I had my life turned upside down in the past few months. My relationship for over a year ended and now I need to...idk relearn living ig. So this One shot is me letting go of him...and for now my last short story.

I lost my fun at writing for now, but I'll return when I'm ready again, I promise.

Luv

And suddenly the door shut close and the world was quiet.

~

Luke sat on his couch in the dark living room, his body wrapped up in a fuzzy blanket.

He stared at the screen, waiting for a message, an answer.

But he was met with nothing.

3 days and he was still waiting.

Luke couldn't cry anymore, all his tears were used up and non others were produced, his eyes were dried.

He just sigh and locked his phone screen, getting up, still wrapped in the blanket and walked onto his tiny balcony.

There were no stars, just grey and heavy clouds over Sidney. But Luke sat down on the stool that used to be there for the funny nights with his boyfriend. Where they smoked and drank and just enjoyed life.

But now his apartment was dark and empty, without love and without the warm laughter he fell in love with.

Luke just reached to the floor, grabbing a cigarette out of the pack and the lighter on top of it.

The flame lit up the darkness for a second and maybe there was a single tear on Luke's cheek but he quickly wiped it away.

He unlocked his phone again and clicked on the chat, being reminded of the fact that he got ignored for 3 days again.

But this time he didn't just take it, he just wrote 5 simple words, starring at the screen for a little, hoping.

Hoping that his boyfriend would just now decide to text him again and make the pain go away.

But there was nothing. Just the little delivered under his last message. Not pending, not read, just the painful delivered.

So he hit send, staring at the screen again in utter disbelief of what he just did.

But he continued, clicking on the profile, blocking the person he used to love.

Luke pushed the cigarette bud out in the ash tray and got up.

He couldn't help but feel relieved, couldn't help the little smile that crept up his lips. A true smile, something he hadn't had in a long time.

His smile turned into happy tears as Luke reached the couch, laying down.

His still unlocked screen lighting up the room a little.

I'm breaking up with you
