Somewhere in between Mystic Falls and Ringwood*

Getting up from the bed Kara looked at herself through the dressing room vanity, wondering how she got here, and if this was the right thing to do.

Coming from behind her, hugging her from behind, Alex smiled to himself. "Are we doing the right thing?" Her question forced a wedge between them.

This wasn't the first time Kara asked that question, in fact, she asked it so much, it made Alex's ears bleed.

Letting go of her, Alex stared at her through the mirror. "Why do you keep asking that?" His face falls from Happy to a mix of annoyed and sadness, in the blink of an eye.

Not daring to turn around, Kara said what was on her mind. "What if Aliyah finds out."

Alex rolls his eyes, "So what if she finds out, she's moved on, and so have I. If anything, I'm sure she's happy."

Finally, turning around, Kara gives into her emotions. "I know, but what if she isn't?"

Sighing, Alex holds Kara's hands in reassurance. "If she isn't, then, We'll get our own happy ending the best way we can." His words cause her to smile, and repeat his words that filled her heart.

"We'll get our own happy ending." She smiles brightly, then embraces him in a tight hug.

Laughter filled Jonathan's room as him and Clary sat on the floor, discussing more about her world, and the other version of him.

Her laughter fades as she remembers how the other's treat her here. "I feel like everyone here sees me as the enemy, even Izzy and Alec. All they see is-" Cutting her off Jonathan continues her sentence. "The kiss." He sighs, looking up at her.

"I did it to save her, and yet....I ruined everything. I even ruined your relationship with everyone else." She says in a fainted voice.

Resting his hand on hers, Jonathan corrected her mistake. "You weren't the only one who did it, I played my part in it too. If I was thinking clearly in that moment, then I would've known it was one of Mason's test."

Hearing what he said made Clary more conflicted. "How do you do that?"

"Do what?" He questioned, with a sneaky smile.

"That thing with your eyes." Clary says, with a soft smile, but Jonathan's slipped away.

His mind went back to that moment of him and Aliyah when they were in the library together. The guilt weighed down on him harder than any other thing in his life. When he heard Clary say those words, he felt as if the world was punishing, because here he was with another woman when he could've had it all with the girl he loved, down the hall.

Tears trickled down his cheeks without his knowledge, as his memories with Aliyah passed through his mind, forcing him to choke up.

"Jonathan?" Clary tried to wipe his tears away, but Jonathan slapped her hand away. "You need to go." He muttered out.

Confused by his sudden change in manor, Clary tried to understand the situation. "Did I do something wrong?" She asked as she now stood in front of Jonathan, wanting to help him calm down, but the situation just got worse.

Holding his chest, unable to breathe, his tears continued to fall. "Just leave.." He managed to say, his voice cracking as he continued to have unstable breathing.

Running into the room, Aliyah stood in the door way, holding her chest.

"I don't know what happened, he just started-" Clary tried to explain the situation, but Aliyah Ignored her, sitting on her knees, looking at Jonathan, she stared into his eyes, holding his cheek.

"Jonathan, it's okay. I need you to breathe, okay?" Aliyah tried calming him down, but his situation stayed the same.

"What's happening to him?" Clary asked, concerned.

"He's having a panic attack." Aliyah looked back at Clary, then back at Jonathan, trying to figure out how to fix the situation.
