Looking into the eyes of the man she loves, Aliyah remembered the first time this happened, she also remembered that she was the only one who could stop it.

"Jonathan, look into my eyes." Aliyah said softly, still holding his face. "What was the trigger?" Aliyah let out in a somewhat angry voice. "The last thing I said to him, was something about his eyes." Sighing in annoyance, Aliyah knew exactly what triggered him.

"You made him remember how it all started, and how it all ended." Aliyah's hands fall from Jonathan's face, as she watches him in his helpless form.

"What?" Clary asked, not understanding what Aliyah meant. "You made him think about me, that's something he didn't do, because he was distracting himself with you. I bet that's why he's like this, his quilt finally got to him, and it's all because of one little thing you said." Aliyah face shows no emotion towards Clary.

Inhaling, then Exhaling, Aliyah's face softened, then she held Jonathan's cheek, Whispering the exact same words to him that caused him to have a panicked state. In one foul swoop, the memory, turned into reality, as Aliyah jumped into Jonathan's mind, by looking into his eyes.

Jonthan's mind scape*

"Hey." She smiled, as she looked at him, standing in front of her. "Why are you here?" His voice beamed low, as a sign that he didn't want her to help him. "Why are you here, Jonathan?" Aliyah says, pressing her back against the bookshelf.

"This is where it started." He stated. "What?" She questioned.

"My feelings for you." He grabs her hand, holding it. She stares at him blankly, not wanting to repeat the past. "I care about you, but I think it's better if we spend some time apart. After all, we we're never really together." She slips her hand out of his, placing it at her side.

"It's always what you want, what about me?" His voice breaks through the pain. "I tried to be the girl you wanted, remember? You chose someone else, because you just couldn't handle loving me." Her words hurt him, but they were true.

"I loved you with all my fiber and being, and it wasn't enough Jonathan, so please, don't give me that crap." After Aliyah let out the words, the memory around them start the catch fire.

"You know, I love you, even when your this hurtful to me, and I don't know why." Jonathan showed a softer side to him. "Well it's good that you won't remember any of this, because it'll hurt a lot less when I do this." Grabbing him by his shirt, Aliyah pulled him towards herself, kissing him.

Crying through the kiss, Aliyah knew this was the last thing she could give to Jonathan, after everything. Deep down she loved him more than anything, and it hurt her to say those things, but she had to.

Before the panic attack with Jonathan, Aliyah a nightmare that felt vivid, to the point where she woke up running to the voice she heard in her dream. The voice she heard was Jonathan's, and now she had to let go of him, because of the dream.

Aliyah's hand slipped down to Jonathan's and she gripped it tightly, as she pulled away from the kiss to say the words she'd been meaning to get off of her chest.

"I love you, Jonathan Vale." Looking into his eyes, she knew he was going to say it back, but she stopped him. "Don't say it, because in you do, I'll never let you go." She cried, while looking at him. Before he could say anything, the fire around them faded, and Aliyah took them back to reality as if nothing had happened.

Reality*

Sitting there, Aliyah's eyes turned from purple to red, showcasing her original powers were peaking through, without her knowing.

Coming back from the mind scape, both Jonathan and Aliyah stared at each other in silence, with only one of them knowing the truth, and the other living in a lie.

Getting up, Aliyah walked out of the room not saying a word. Walking closer to Jonathan, Clary tried to make good on the situation, but he shot her down. "I need some time alone." He get's up from the floor, walking towards the bathroom closing the door.

Leaving the room, Clary sighed in Anger feeling like the villain once again.

Standing in the bathroom, the shower ran, but Jonathan stood in front of the mirror questioning the situation that just happened. Touching his lips, his mind went back to the kiss that just happened, and all the emotions he felt, along with Aliyah.

"She's living in a lie." He whispered to himself, wiping the fog off of the mirror.
