👼 MY ANGEL 👼

"W-what are y-you doing h-here?" I stuttered those words, my voice shaking a little.

Even though I was scared, my eyes just couldn't stop staring at him.

Not because he had me pinned against the wall and his face was all over mine, and also, not because he had both his hands on my shoulders, keeping my back pressed against the wall and preventing me from moving. I wasn't forced to look him in the eye, but I couldn't help it. He had this domineering aura with his dark eyes. Even though they were giving me a cold stare, I was still drawn to them.

He had such handsome features, and being five foot five, I could guess this man was around six foot one or something. He was dressed so elegantly and poised, like a man from a wealthy background. My heart beat fast as I stared at him. I didn't have much time this morning, but I did now.

He is so handsome.

But I couldn't help but feel like I had seen him before somewhere. I couldn't tell, but his face sure did look familiar.

Oh my god! He was Jeremy Callahan, the young master of a prestigious family that was the richest in the whole country.

I had seen his face on the internet a few times and even admired how attractive he was, but that was it. I knew a man like him was from a different world compared to mine. Someone I could never have any kind of relationship with. So, I didn't follow up on him or his family, even when they were trending on Twitter.

"You are something else, Gwen Halverson, aren't you?" His voice had a hint of hatred in it. It was so alluring, it pulled me out of my thoughts about him.

"Sir, listen to me, okay? I am not Gwen..." I tried to explain, but he held my shoulder even tighter and his other hand pinched my chin.

"Who are you then?" He chuckled mockingly.

"I am Elsa, Gwen's twin sister!" I said confidently.

He looked at me for a few seconds, as if studying me, before his face filled with rage. He then grabbed my arms and threw me on the sofa very roughly. He followed me there and held my chin again, forcing me to look at him. My stomach dropped in fear.

"Out of all the lies in the world, this is the best you could come up with? A twin sister?" He scoffed, looking at me with nothing but contempt. Wow, he really hated Gwen, who had my face, and vice versa.

"But I am..."

"Gwen, I am starting to think you have lost your edge... You used to be so good at pretending, what happened?" He said with fake concern, wrinkling his forehead.

I looked at his hostility, and my heart beat so hard and fast, immediately afraid of this man. "Look, if I can prove to you that I am not Gwen, will you leave me alone?"
