👼 MY ANGEL 👼

Elsa was on the floor, trying to get up, when suddenly John kicked her in the stomach.

"What did I say I would do to you if I ever saw you again, Gwen? What did I say, you vile woman?" Elsa remained silent.

"If you don't remember, I'll remind you. I told you I would beat you to death!" Elsa started coughing, and blood began to come out of her mouth.

John continued to kick and beat her mercilessly. No one in the room defended her; they all watched as she was attacked.

She had no strength to fight this man and had to find a way to escape before he killed her.

Despite the ongoing assault, she managed to quickly get up from the floor.

Insults were shouted in her ear.

"Shameless!"

"Bitch!"

"Harlot!"

But her head hurt so much that she could barely hear them. She ran out of there, looking down with both hands holding her head.

She was in so much pain that she felt like screaming.

She knew that Doctor Johnson wouldn't be at the hospital at this time, so she quickly went to the pharmacy and bought the same painkillers she had at home.

The woman at the pharmacy noticed dry blood on Elsa's lips, but since Elsa was covering her swollen face, she didn't ask about it.

Instead, she gave Elsa something to apply to reduce the swelling by morning.

Elsa took the medication and went outside, sitting on a bench near the entrance. After some time, her head started to feel better, and the pain lessened.

She took out her phone and called Doctor Johnson.

She didn't go into details about what had just happened and simply told him that she had hit the back of her head against a surface, which triggered her headache.

"With the position of the tumor, it's understandable why you're experiencing headaches," he explained.

"So my headaches will never go away?" Elsa asked.

"I'm afraid not. You will have to learn to manage them. All I can do is prescribe painkillers."

Elsa had given up on having her tumor removed. Every doctor had told her that the operation might kill her, and the risk of death was very high.

They advised her to live the remaining five years instead of undergoing surgery and dying immediately.

"Headache pain caused by brain tumors is often worse in the morning, but it can occur at any time. Some people experience headaches that wake them from sleep. Brain tumor headaches tend to cause pain that worsens when coughing or straining. Most people with brain tumors describe the headache as feeling like a tension headache or a migraine, just like you described yours," Doctor Johnson said. Elsa made a note of the information.

"Doctor, what other symptoms will I have?" she asked.

"Well, Elsa, you may experience nausea or vomiting, personality changes, memory changes, or behavior changes....." he replied.

Elsa listened as the doctor described how her life would be affected and how severe her symptoms would become.

She thanked the doctor and decided to visit her grandmother the next day. She needed the support of a family member now more than ever, and her grandmother was the only one left.
