👼 MY ANGEL 👼

Elsa didn't know whether she should lie or just admit the truth, which was exactly the same as Gwen's. "Yes, but I can explain... Gwen and I got matching tattoos, so that's why I have one too," she said, looking into his cold eyes with her innocent gaze.

Just then, the man burst out laughing mockingly. "Your lies are so bad, they make me cringe..."

"But I'm not lying to you, sir. I have no reason to."

He relaxed his face and gave her a fake smile that barely curved his lips. "So, you and your twin sister went and got matching tattoos in the same place?"

"Yes, that's exactly what happened."

"And these photos and evidence you're showing me, they're completely real? And you're just her twin, not her?"

"Yes, I promise I'm not lying."

"Gwen, what happened to you? You used to be a better liar than this. I'm genuinely concerned..."

"Jeremy-"

"Oh wait, I see it now... I see exactly what's going on... You're playing the innocent girl role... This is all an act, a good one at that. You're pretending to be an innocent girl with no memory of your past sins, aren't you? Gwen?... Oh, sorry. My mistake... Isn't it, Elsa?"

"You're the only son of one of the richest and most well-connected families in the world. If I'm lying, you can easily access my government records and find out that I'm not Gwen. There should be enough evidence in there to prove it. Like my hospital records, tax records, or something like that. Please check them and see for yourself."

This man should be smart, considering the businesses he runs. He should be well-connected and able to obtain that kind of information in an instant. And then, he'll realize he's wrong.

"All your records, Elsa, say that you're Gwen Halverson, who changed her name two weeks ago. The day you 'died'."

"What?... How is that possible?"

"You've already been caught, Gwen. Why are you still pretending?"

Elsa didn't know what to say now, so she fell silent, trying to figure out how to make him believe her. She was also shocked to see her records tied to Gwen.

"You thought changing your name would keep you from paying what you owe me, but you clearly don't know who you're dealing with."

A feeling of nervousness enveloped Elsa at that moment. She wanted to speak and tell him for the hundredth time that she wasn't Gwen, but he cut her off.

"You have 24 hours to come to my villa and pay me what you owe me. If not, I'll make sure you spend the rest of your life in jail."

"I know you're sweating, shaking, and planning out more lies right now. If I were you, I'd consider my next actions very carefully."
