👼 MY ANGEL 👼

Jeremy looked at the scared little woman for a few seconds before letting her go. He then comfortably sat on the couch next to her as he waited for her proof. Elsa got up from the couch, still trembling from what had just happened. This man's coldness and disdain for her made her shiver. His icy eyes felt like they were piercing through her bones.

"Well?... Are you going to prove to me you're not Gwen?" he asked impatiently, making the already frightened girl jump in fear and rush to the drawers. All Jeremy saw in front of him was a lying, scheming woman. So what if she didn't sound like Gwen? She could just be using a fake voice.

Elsa went to a drawer and took out some documents. The first one was the birth certificates, one of Gwen and one of her. She gave them to the man, who took them and carefully read them. She then took out two IDs, one of Gwen when she was still alive, and one of herself. Elsa also took a photo album, filled with photos of her and Gwen together starting from childhood. They were truly identical twins, both with dimples on their cheeks and beautiful brown locks, both smiling at the camera.

The only thing that they didn't have in common, which could be seen in close-up photos, were their eye colors. Gwen's deep blue eyes shone brightly in the images, while Elsa's green eyes gave off a sense of innocence and mystery. It gave the feeling of someone who liked to stay hidden, which was true. There were even photos of them at the beach, where Elsa's birthmark, which Gwen didn't have on her waist, was also shown.

Elsa watched Jeremy's stunning side profile as he flipped through the album photos. He looked keenly at both girls in each photo until he reached the end. Elsa thought that this would make the man realize that she was not Gwen. At least he saw it with his own eyes.

"So, what you're saying is, you're not Gwen?" he asked calmly as he closed the photo album.

"Yes, I am not Gwen. Gwen was my twin sister, but she passed away two weeks ago. Even you know that, right? That's why you asked me why I wasn't dead when you saw me."

"I see... So if you're not Gwen but Elsa, meaning we don't know each other, why did you come to my wedding?"

"Curiosity, you could say. I didn't know whose wedding I was going to. I just wandered there, that's all. It looked so nice that I gatecrashed."

Jeremy went quiet for a while, as if thinking about something.

"Lift up your shirt!" he suddenly said with an almost commanding tone.

"W-what?" Elsa was confused by his words.

He then turned to her, and Elsa saw his eyes turn red. Elsa gave him a questioning look.

"Do you want me to repeat myself?" he gritted his teeth as he slammed the album on the table, making Elsa jump from the noise it produced.

"I... I... I don't understand... Why do I have to lift up my shirt?"

"You're not Gwen, right? If you're not her, then I don't expect to find a tattoo on your lower chest rib... So, show me," he commanded.

"Gwen had a tattoo on her chest. Prove to me you're not her by showing me your lower chest. If there is no tattoo, or any trace that one had been there before, then I will believe you."
