Chapter 40: Adopt?

Everyone was present in the room to meet Ruhi, Ruhi looked at Viraj & Saumya.
Ruhi: do you believe him now?
Saumya nodded but Viraj stayed silent, Ruhi smiled knowing Viraj couldn't come out of his ego.
Ruhi: still ego,
Viraj looked at her, Ruhi scoff,
Ruhi: if biology parents are like this,
She said pointing at Viraj, Saumya, Jairaj and Meegha.
Ruhi:then I'm glad that I don't have one.
Everyone got shocked, from their expression Ruhi understood they don't know about this, fear rushed all over her body.
Sanskruti: cool, it doesn't matter,
Sanskruti spoke after noticing fare on her face,
Vivan: yes, nothing matters to me but I'll glad to know about this.
Vivan too assures her,
Ruhi: I'm an orphan, Divya's dad adopted me.
Ruhi said looking down and Vivan nodded, he want to know further but this is not correct timing. Everyone was curious to know but this fact didn't affect them much(in a bad way), First time guilt rush over Viraj but still his ego didn't let him do anything. This news was surely shocked everyone but this news got neglected because Ishita had return. Daksh was so desperate to see her but her behaviour had changed alot, she is trying to act normal but it was clear something had changed. While Saumya and Meegha was acting strange too, they were more sweet, shockingly Meegha too. And this was making them more suspicious, heirs noticed it but everything was happening rapidly. Before they understood or do something Everything happens, same with Sanskruti. She was confused too,
In their room:
Daksh: Ishita?
Ishita: hmm?
Ishita was behaving normal,
Daksh: how was your meeting with your parents?
Ishita: it was good,
Daksh: oh, did something happened?
Ishita: no, why?
She frowned,
Daksh: your acting strange,
Ishita: no, nothing happened,
She looked away and replied,
Daksh: are you sure?
Daksh asked concernedly,
Ishita: yes, don't think anything and sleep.
Daksh nodded and got up from bed to sleep on couch but Ishita stopped him.
Ishita: can we share bed from now on?
Her sudden question startled him,
Daksh: why?
Ishita: I don't want to be alone,
Daksh: any specific reason?
Ishita: no,
Daksh: will you be comfortable with me?
Ishita: I'm trying, can you please too?
Daksh: after what I have done to you, I always gets uncomfortable to touch you.
Ishita: I know, now let's sleep.
Daksh nodded and slept beside her, Daksh was having problems to sleep while Ishita was awake too.
Ishita: are having problems to sleep again?
Daksh: hmm, why are you awake?
Ishita: I can't sleep!
Daksh: oh! Should we drink that drink you gifted me on our one month anniversary.
Ishita: you still have them?
Daksh: yes,
Ishita: ok, let's drink,
Both got up and went to make drink, Daksh was making drink while Ishita was admiring him, Ishita gaze was something else. Daksh made drink and both came to balcony, Ishita drank on sip and sigh.
Daksh: what happened?
Ishita: nothing,
Daksh: I know something happened but you're not telling me and it's ok, take your time. But I want you to know, I'm always there for you, I will never leave you whatever happened.
Ishita: prove me, I want to trust you,
Ishita said looking down, her voice like she was pleading to him.
Daksh: I'll prove it,
Daksh replied confidently,
Ishita: why you have problem with your sleep?
Ishita tries to change the topic,
Daksh: I don't know, first I was very restless, tensed, anxious, so I was not able to sleep. But now I'm all empty from inside still I can't sleep, it's like my body got used to it now.
Ishita: it is because you haven't found peace,
Daksh was continuously looking at her but she was looking at the sky,
Ishita: your mind, soul, heart, everyone want peace.
Daksh: I had found but didn't used,
Ishita: are you talking about me?
Daksh just kept staring at her without replying,
Ishita: then use me,
Ishita said directly looking at him, surely Daksh was not liking this version of Ishita.
Daksh: why? Why you want to help me? Is it because you're kind? If so then don't help me, don't do favours because I can't return it.
Ishita: I want to help because I can't see you like this,
Daksh looked at her and she smiled at him, today their eye contact was new, their hatred, argument, grudge nothing was there. There was something new for their new journey, which Daksh got glimpse. Daksh want this but he want old Ishita,
Next day:
Today Sanskruti told Ishita everything happened with Ruhi and for Sanskruti suprised Ishita was silent on this. Sanskruti have guarantee  something had happened, in Oberois house everyone is stuck in their problems. Ishita & Aditya are behaving strangely, Ruhi recently got injured, after that incident Vivan is throwing special hate to his family, Daksh is worried about Ishita, Suraj having hard time in office managing everything as other heirs are not that active, Sanskruti don't know what to do, whom she should help and Kiara is still in her parents house because of that Aditya mostly stay outside. It's clear Kiara's absence is disturbing Aditya,
During dinner:
Aditya was sitting on chair, everyone was having dinner but Aditya was just staring at his food.
Aditya: is there something that I should know,mom?
Suddenly Aditya spoke, he directly asked Meegha, everyone looked at them confusedly while Meegha widen her eyes like someone caught her.
Meegha: m-ea-ning?
Meegha shutter,
Aditya: I'm giving you a chance, later if I got to know you did something, I'll not leave you.
Meegha got scared and it was all over her face, and everyone noticed it and got scared from the thought 'what is coming now'
Daksh: what happened Aditya?
Aditya: I don't know, I'm going insane Bhai, I want her, I want her.
Aditya stands up and throws his food aggressively,
Daksh: Kiara?
Daksh asked but Aditya stood silently,
Suraj: then bring her,
Aditya: how? It feels like she is gone missing, I'm not able to meet her.
Vivan: what does that mean?
Aditya: on first day when she went to her parents house, I want to call her but I didn't because I don't want to accept that I'm missing her. On 2nd day I was not able to control and I called her, but she didn't picked up. I called her 20 times that day but she didn't pick up not even once, I was not able to control it and in the morning I went to her house. But her dad said, she went for shopping and she is not at home. Then I again went to her house in evening but her dad said she haven't returned yet, I'm having very bad feeling. I want to see her at any cost or I'll go insane.
Daksh: did you called her brother?
Aditya: yes, but he didn't tell me where she is,
Vivan: then I think it's time to show who really we are,
Aditya looked at him and Vivan smirked, Aditya looked at Suraj & Daksh. They give him confidence look, Aditya smirked and said,
Aditya: let's do it in our style now,
Heirs smiled and move for their mission, Aditya called Karan and asked where he was, and Karan told him his address. As soon Aditya saw Karan, he grab his collar while other 3 heirs watched them.
Aditya: where is Kiara?
Aditya asked angrily, Karan can see clearly that his patience level had broke. Karan sigh,
Karan: I wanted to tell you but dad was not allowing me, but after seeing your desperacy I can't hide it anymore.
Aditya: why papa wants to hide? What happened?
He felt like ground beneath his feet shook, after hearing Kiara's address. Heirs hurriedly enter in hospital and Aditya was infront, he was tensed, panicked, anxious, nervous, scared. His emotions were displayed on his face like a movie, Gautam stopped him when he was about to enter in ICU.
Gautam: we are not allowed to enter in ICU,
Aditya: why?
Gautam: it's ICU, it has visiting time.
Aditya: what is that timing?
Gautam: 3pm to 4pm, timing is over, it's night now.
Aditya: what happened to her?
Gautam: car accident,
Aditya: how?
Gautam: while crossing the road,when she went for shopping.
Aditya nodded, Aditya wants to stay in hospital but Gautam force him to go home, so heirs came back to home. Everyone was waiting for them, as soon as they came Sanskruti asked them about Kiara and Suraj told them everything. Everyone was shocked while Aditya was silent, but Meegha was so much guilty, god knows why.
Daksh: do you really think Kiara's dad was telling truth?
Aditya: I don't know,
Suraj: so why are you so silent?
Aditya: I don't know, I'm having very bad feelings, I just want to see her, I want her in front of my eyes.
The first time Aditya was behaving like this, showing his weak side or openly expressing what he felt.
Daksh: I don't think he is telling the truth, Karan's expression was telling something else.
Aditya: I can feel it too, but what can I do? I don't want to do something which will hurt Kiara.
Sanskruti: meet her,
Aditya: how?
Suraj: yes, how? Hospitals have rules,
Sanskruti: when did you all start to follow rules?
Sanskruti smiled mischievously, Suraj smirked, heirs smiled after getting support from Sanskruti. They felt little ease, But In all this Daksh never forget about Ishita or how strange Ishita is, her silence on this matter was surprising Daksh & Sanskruti.
