First I'm fucking terrified of Germany. Second I still haven't done my photography paper that was due yesterday. Third I'm trying so hard to not have to go to Photography this week cause it's my last week. And fourth I cried myself to sleep last night cause of what happened in class yesterday. But anyway enjoy this update and GO USA! KICK COLOMBIA'S ASS!

Your POV:

"BABE!" I yelled. Ally ran into my room. She was visiting me before we went to Texas.

"WHAT!"

"Your fans ship us!" I laughed showing her my phone.

"Jesus Y/N." She held her chest. "I thought something bad happened."

"I'm sorry." I said. "Come here."

"No." She walked away.

"Ally." I said. I stood up and walked after her. "Stop. Give me a hug."

"No." She said again. She walked downstairs and into the kitchen where my mom was.

"Mom! Ally won't give me a hug." I pouted.

My mom laughed. "Did she scare you?" Ally nodded. "She does that sometimes."

"Mom! YOU AREN'T HELPING!" I sighed.

My mom put her arm around Ally's shoulders. "You too are such a cute couple. Y/N don't scare your girlfriend. Ally, never deny Y/N hugs. It never ends well. Trust me."

Ally laughed. "Come here you goofball." I clapped my hands and ran over to her. I picked her up and spun her around. She laughed. "You're lucky I love you."

We hung out with my mom and siblings for the rest of the night. In the morning my mom drove us to the airport where we flew to Texas.

When we landed, Ally's brother Brandon picked us up. He was really nice and happy to meet me. He said he supported our relationship 100%.

He dropped us off at his parents house and Ally led me to the front door. A women, Ally's mom opened the door.

"Ally!" She hugged her. "You must be Y/N." She hugged me as well. "It's a pleasure to finally meet you."

"The pleasure is all mine Mrs. Hernandez." I smiled.

"Call me Pat." She opened the door wider and let us in. "Make yourselves at home." We walked to the living room and sat down. "Ally tells me you can't stay long?"

"Unfortunately not. I start practice with my team soon. Gotta be ready for my first game."

She nodded. "I wish you could stay longer but you have to do your job just like Ally has to do hers. Congratulations on the gold medal by the way."

I said thank you then a man walked in. I'm guessing he was Ally's dad. "Who's this?" He asked.

"This is Y/N." Ally's mom said. "Ally's friend. Y/N this is my husband Jerry."

I put my hand out. "Nice to meet you Mr. Hernandez."

He shook my hand. "Same. So Ally hangs out with gold medalists now?" He laughed. "Pretty cool."

We talked more till it was time for dinner. "Mom. Dad. There's something I need to say. I don't know if you saw the interview but Y/N isn't my friend." They looked at her. "She's my girlfriend."

Pat smiled. "Well she's a keeper." I smiled.

Jerry on the other hand looked a little pissed. "No." He said.

"What?"

"I didn't raise a lesbian." He said looking at Ally. "What happened to Troy? He was nice and a BOY. You left him for her. A girl."

"Dad. I love her. If you love me you'd accept and support me."

"I love you Ally but you aren't gay." He said.

"Sir." He looked at me. "I know you aren't happy with this but you have to understand I love her. With all my heart. I'll do anything humanly possible to protect her and keep her happy. I'd even give up soccer if she wanted me too."

"Where is this going?" He asked.

I sighed. "When I first met her I fell in love. I tried to deny the fact that I was gay and the fact I was in love. My teammate said something to me that really stuck with me. She said "you fall in love with a person, not a gender." and it made me think that I fell in love with Ally's caring nature. How she just loves life. I can sit here and tell you all about the wonderful person Ally is but you raised her so you probably know everything." He looked at me. "If you still don't want her to date a girl then I will get up, grab my bags and leave but I will never stop loving her. You can try to keep us apart but love will always bring us together. I respect you sir, I really do. She's your daughter." Tears came to my eyes. "You have to love her no matter what." My voice cracked.

Ally grabbed my hand.

Her dad looked down at his plate. "Jerry she's right." Pat said. "She's still Ally. So what or who she loves. What matters is that someone is going to do everything in their power to make our daughter happy. Someone is going to protect her. She's going to be loved by someone other than the girls and us."

I nodded.

"You're right. I just I was just a little shocked. You've been with Troy for so long." He finally said. He looked at me. "I apologize for my behavior. Welcome to the family." He stood up and walked over to me. I stood up and was a little shocked when he hugged me. "I know you love her just by the way you looked at her." He stepped back. I gave him a confused look. "I look at her mother that way." He smiled.
