Your POV:

After that match against Mexico we all felt a sudden burst of excitement. We tweeted our supporters back in the states, and those who traveled to France.

But today was Spain. They tied Canada in the 91st minute to get the 1-1 draw. They're a good team.

We can take them.

"Alex and Syd. You are starting up too. Tobin, Megan, Carli, Kelley. Backline same as last game."

We went out and did the pregame warm ups and waved to some fans. I was bummed about not starting but all of us are great players and we all need a chance to shine.

After warmups ended we chilled in the locker room.

All the starters got ready. Carli was the captain once again.

I walked out and went to the bench and sat next to Amy and Ashlyn. They played the anthems and the game started. Sitting on the bench was interesting. At halftime the trainers had me go out early to warm up on the field. 

I took some shots and ran around to get my legs going. The second half began and it was tied at 0.

Right when the whistle blew I got up and started to stretch again. Jill told me I was going in. 

"Substitution for the United States of America. Number 12 Y/N L/N replaces Number 13 Alex Morgan."

Alex walked over and I went into the game. "Let's get some goals now ladies!" I smiled.

No One's POV:

"O'Hara has the ball. She sends it up to Leroux who gets passed her defender. Oh but the shot is blocked. L/N with the rebound and there it is! Goal!" The team jumped on you. 

"The US lead 1-0 in the 50th minute with a missed shot by Leroux but L/N gets it in the back of the net."

The game started and America was once again on the attack. They were too strong for Spain. "Corner coming up for the US. Johnston goes up for the header but it just misses her. Carli takes the shot and the goalkeeper saves it! L/N once again. GOAL!" The commentator laughed. "Y/N L/N with her 2nd of the game and 3rd of the tournament."

"She is known for quick hat tricks." The other person said. "With 2 goals now I wouldn't be surprised if they set her up again for a 3rd." 

Your POV:

"That's how we do it!" Carli jumped on me.

Kling jumped on me too and laughed. "I wanna score too!" She screamed.

No One's POV:

The US subbed Christen in for Sydney. And Morgan in for Megan. Spain also used all 3 of their subs.

Spain had the ball and raced towards goal. You chased down the field. They passed it up more. "Johnston slides in. Sauerbrunn gives it to Morgan who begins the attack for the US."

You and Press ran up the field. Morgan gave it to Tobin who passed to Lloyd. 

"Lloyd inside the box. She goes to send in the cross. And she is taken down!" The crowd stood up. "The ref has just given the US a penalty after Carli Lloyd is taken down."

"It looks like L/N is gonna take it." 

Your POV:

I placed the ball down and looked at the goalkeeper. She looked pretty nervous. She started yelling at me. I tuned her and the crowd out. 

I looked away from the keeper and at the ball. The ref blew the whistle and I took the shot.

She saved it. I ran to the ball and kicked it again. That time it went in. I ran towards the crowd and nodded.

Ally's POV:

I watched the game with my parents and family. 

"The US will win the game 3-0 ONCE AGAIN! All goals coming from Y/N L/N the substitute."

After the game they interviewed her. 

"Y/N 3 goals today. All game from rebounds. First world cup hat trick. Walk us through that missed PK."

"It's pretty clear what happened. The shot was saved by the keeper and I saw where the ball went and got to it before anyone else could and just took the shot."

"Were you trying for a hat trick or did it just happened?" She laughed.

"I was just trying to help my team get another win and got a hat trick along with it." 

Y/N got Player of The Match and the US now had 6 points.

No One's POV:

"The US now on top with 6 points. Canada with 4, Spain with 1 and Mexico still has 0."

Here is the game against Spain. Next will be Canada! Then celebration chapters! Get ready for some drama.
