In the morning, Qin Feng woke up feeling dizzy and uncomfortable all over his body, possibly falling ill.

He struggled through a day of training with his extremely uncomfortable body. After the training session ended, he planned to go to the medical room to see what was going on.

Zhong Yuanjie ran over and asked him, "What's wrong? Are you okay?"

"I'm fine, just feeling a bit unwell."

"Do you want me to accompany you to the medical room?"

"No need, it's not a big deal, I'll go by myself."

Qin Feng waved his hand and headed towards the medical room.

Zhong Yuanjie shouted, "Then do you want to eat something? I can bring it for you."

Qin Feng thought for a moment and said, "No, it's okay. I'm afraid you won't have enough to eat."

"Uh..." Zhong Yuanjie rolled his eyes and left.

On his way to the medical room, Qin Feng suddenly remembered someone, Xu Jia. It had been over four years since they last saw each other, and he wondered how she was doing now.

Thinking of this, he slapped his forehead. How could he forget his promise to visit her regularly? So, he turned around and decided to go see her... and also get checked for illness.

The base wasn't too far from the bunker, but it would take at least an hour to walk. For Qin Feng, who was feeling unwell, it was quite a distance.

The best way was to take the subway train. He walked towards the subway station. However, the subway train didn't directly connect to the bunker. After getting off, he would need to walk for about ten minutes to reach the location of the vertical shaft elevator leading to the bunker.

The sky outside was already getting dark, and there were many people on the street, all hurrying towards the elevator to the bunker.

Qin Feng followed behind the crowd.

Over four years ago, anyone could come and go freely here. But now, several security checkpoints had been set up, and dozens of guards were carefully inspecting the passing individuals and their belongings.

This made Qin Feng wonder: 'Did something happen here to warrant such tight security?'

Near the elevator, there were tall wire fences on both sides of the street, and Qin Feng didn't dare to touch them, not knowing if they were electrified.

He hadn't brought anything with him and quickly passed through the security check.

While waiting in line at the elevator, he asked someone behind him, "When did they start the security checks here?"

The person shook his head. "I'm not sure about the exact time, but it was a few months ago."

Qin Feng asked, "Did something happen? I remember this place used to be freely accessible."

The person sighed, "Ah, it's all because of the riot last time. The thugs almost blew up the elevator shafts!"

"That serious? There was a riot here too?"

"Yeah, didn't you know? It nearly burned down the bunker! It was terrifying! I heard many people died."

"Really? I didn't know about this!" Qin Feng widened his eyes.

"I'm not lying to you. Are you not from Silver City? You don't even know about this... are you from somewhere else?"

"Uh... I'm not a local," Qin Feng smiled awkwardly and scratched his head, feeling somewhat worried about Xu Jia.

"But now it's okay, everyone's pinning their hopes on the Arcadia. Since we can leave here, we don't have to worry about starving to death in the end," the person said.

Qin Feng smiled but didn't say anything. He took the elevator down to the bunker. Most of the places here were no longer familiar to him, but he relied on his memory to find the hospital where Xu Jia worked.

"St. Anne's Hospital" was the largest hospital in Silver City Bunker and also the oldest. It was said to have been here shortly after the bunker was built hundreds of years ago. After continuous expansion, its area grew larger and larger, gradually becoming what it was today.

Qin Feng didn't know how big the hospital was now, but he knew that finding someone in such a large hospital wouldn't be easy.

He wandered around the hospital without direction, like a headless fly. He first went to the ward he had stayed in before, but since so much time had passed, he couldn't remember which specific ward he had been in. After circling around, he didn't see Xu Jia.

Perhaps she had already gone home from work, or maybe she no longer worked here...

Except for unexpected circumstances, Qin Feng went through all the possibilities in his mind: 'If she doesn't work here anymore, where could she go?'

As he was thinking about it, intending to go to her house to look for her, he passed by a ward and suddenly heard a familiar voice, like Xu Jia's!

He stopped and looked into the ward. A familiar figure was talking to a patient inside.

When Xu Jia came out of the ward, she happened to see Qin Feng standing at the door. She visibly hesitated for a moment but quickly regained her composure, said nothing, and walked straight past him.

Qin Feng still had the greeting gesture and a smile frozen on his face...

"What's going on?" He quickly turned around and caught up with her, asking, "You don't recognize me?"

Xu Jia blinked as if pretending to be puzzled. "Excuse me, who are you?"

"Don't tease me, how could you not recognize me?" Qin Feng said with a smile.

At this moment, he looked more like a petty hoodlum to an outsider.

Xu Jia looked at him carefully. "I don't know you," she said and tried to leave.

Qin Feng immediately jumped in front of her, blocking her way, and pointed to his face. "It's me! Take another look, have I changed that much?"

Xu Jia frowned and looked at him again. "Patient?"

"Yes, that's right!" Qin Feng exclaimed excitedly.

"Then go back to your ward," Xu Jia said.

"Uh..."

Just as Qin Feng was feeling a bit at a loss, she suddenly burst out laughing.

Qin Feng was stunned, not understanding what she was laughing at.

With a mysterious look on her face, Xu Jia beckoned to him, and he approached with a puzzled expression. Then he heard her say, "Here comes the old buddy," and burst into laughter as she looked at Qin Feng's expression.

"So you do remember me!"

After she had enough laughter, she sat down on a chair next to the corridor and asked, "Why do you have time to come find me?"

"Well..." Qin Feng thought for a moment and said, "I'm feeling a bit unwell today."

"What's wrong?"

"My head..."

"Then that's just right."

"Huh? What's just right?" Qin Feng was a bit puzzled by her words.

Xu Jia shook her head with a smile. "I'm afraid it can't be cured."

"Why?"

"Because it's congenital."
