The loop of seasons new then old
Time flies I was always told
Calendar pages come and go
New Year's party is over
Now winter seems slow
Can't wait to smell green grass as I watch the melting off-white snow
It's finally spring
And flowers, that's my thing
But the hail storm ruined our roof and some lost everything
Can't wait for summer
We're free, no school
Fireworks were fun
But now it's too hot
Clean fresh fall air I miss a lot
Football
Autumn leaves on trees are great
When they hit the ground it's the raking I hate
I'd rather see fresh fallen snow
Christmas gatherings and the shopping
I can't wait to go
But after New Year party is over now winter seems slow
