"We need to stop this nonsense," you groan underneath your breath.
Nash, and you have been arguing for the past hour. Hell it's been a month of pure arguing, breaking up and getting back together.
"What are you trying to say?" He sits next to you on the couch.
There is silence. You put your hands on your face trying to hold back any tears,
"I'm saying. Maybe we should just end-"
"No, no. Please don't say that you're ending this relationship."
"Nash, it hasn't even been a relationship for a whole month." You take your hands away from your face, and look at him with a poker face.
He looks down and bites his bottom lip.
"I-I know but.. We can make this work?"
"You don't even believe your own words anymore, because certainly I don't believe this is working out anymore." I point at both of us.
"We need to stop pointing fingers at each other, and stop acting like we're blind and just realize.. We aren't happy with each other anymore." You say gently holding his hand. He just nods.
"I understand." He whispers underneath his breath.
"It's been an amazing year with you,"
"Just remember I'll always love, and care about you." You put a hand on his shoulder.
"I'll miss you. But this is for the best, for the both of us." He forces a smile.
You nod. You get your purse, and start heading towards the door you look back and Nash is standing there, he opens his arms wide. You go in for one last tight hug.
"You were the best mistake I've ever made, Nash. But in the end we just couldn't hold on anymore," you whisper in his ear as you nuzzle your head in his neck. He nods, and hugs you tighter.
"I didn't provide you a lot of happiness this past month, so I guess yeah. I am the best mistake you've ever had." He gently chuckles. (THAT DIDN'T EVEN MAKE SENSE?!?! IDK)
You pull out from the hug, and nod gently. You start opening the door,
"Bye." You wave.
"Bye, (Y/N)." He says gently, closing the door. As you looked down and sighed and left the apartment building.
