*Mufasa's POV*

A loud cry roar echo across the Pride Lands. Everyone froze in their fighting position.

Father?

"Where's Uru?" Asked Sarabi.

I shook my head.

No, it can't be.

I sprint off following my father's roar.

"Mufasa!" Sarabi called over and over.

I ignore her. My father's roar led me out of the Pride Lands.

Mother please be alright.

I see my father up ahead with his back facing me.

"Father?"

"Son?"

Zuzu is sitting on his shoulder. I walk up close. Tears are falling from her eyes. She sniff then fly away to a tree branch.

Why is Zuzu crying?

My question is answered. I found mother laying down in front of father. Blood, scratches, and bite marks cover her reddish brown fur.

No...

"M-Mother?" My voice crack.

Father hung his head low. "She's gone, son."

"No! This has to be a dream right now. She can't be gone. Mother!"

"I'm sorry, Mufasa."

I break down in tears. Father put a paw on my shoulder.

Who would do such a thing and take my mother's life away? She didn't deserve this! Murder...

I roar with anger and pain. I run off again.

"Mufasa!" My dad called.

I ignore him.

*Taka's POV*

I was drinking from a small watering hole until I heard a roar. It sounds like anger and pain.

Next thing you know, something had came crash hard into me. I fall into the water getting my fur and black mane soaked.

I growl, "Watch where your going!"

I step out of the water shaking out myself dry.

"My apologies." Said the deep voice.

I comb my mane from out of my eyes and see a orange lion standing in front of me. He has a big red mane and ruby colored eyes. He looks familiar but I can't think of what.

I walk away.

"Taka?"

I stop and turn around.

"How do you know my name? No one calls me that!" I frown.

"It's me, Mufasa!" He half smiled.

Mufasa? Gosh he looks so different with a mane!

"Oh."

Mufasa walk up and gave me a tight hug. "I can't believe your alive! It's been so long brother."

I didn't hug back. Instead I took a step back and clear my throat.

"Shouldn't you be in the Pride Lands, Mufasa? You know out here isn't safe." I said.

"I ran away. I'll go back later!" He replied sitting.
