-April's POV-
*6 days later*
Calum Hood. My former best friend, is leaving to travel the world in tomorrow! Honestly, I don't want him to leave but I can't stop him from following his dreams. He's always wanted to be either a professional football player or someone in a band.
I've avoided him ever since we had that argument, I've stopped texting him and I've attempted to cut myself out of his life so that he could focus on following his heart. I don't want to be in the way of his happiness anymore, I want him to be free.
"Starbucks?"
"no"
"McDonald's?"
"no."
"Costa?"
"NO"
I heard a sigh coming from the other side of my bedroom door. The noise eventually subsided and I put my earphones into my ears and listened to Panic! At The Disco. My phone beeped and I hoped that it would be Calum but I was wrong.

Are you going to see us before we leave? xx
To: Luke
I don't know, I have a lot of school work to catch up on x
From: Luke
Oh, okay.. We really wanted to see you, well Calum mostly xx
To: Luke
Trust me, I'm doing him a favour by not coming x

I don't want to stop him from being happy, which he is.. when I'm not around x

That is a complete lie! Calum adores you, you're his sunshine! You make him smile all of the time and if anything he's happier with you than with us xxxx
