15 ; a simple date

"What?"
"You look.... beautiful."
"....Thanks."

Fuyu couldn't help but play with her now shorter hair. It wasn't as short as Sakura's since she could still braid it if she wants too. Looking at her date, she let out a wide smile.

Apparently, one of the Copy Nin's weakness is the wide smile that Fuyu seldom gives to anyone.

Kakashi took her hand as they left Fuyu's apartment for their first ... date. The kunoichi would bet that a certain brunette was involved in this, judging from the way Kakashi had asked her out.

Fuyu couldn't help herself but snort.

"So... where are we off to?" Fuyu let Kakashi pulled her arm so they would walk closer to each other. Kakashi hummed for a while, as they heard a few gasps and faints from their surrounding.

"I was thinking dinner. Are you hungry?" Fuyu nodded before they heard a loud thud from their right.

"Don't you think they're... overdoing it? I mean, we're humans too." The Copy Nin hid his chuckle as he pulled her closer. "They're probably surprised the rumours were true this time. Fangirls fainting because I'm not actually gay. Fanboys fainting because I have a girlfriend." Fuyu rolled her eyes with amusement.

"You should be proud for having me as your boyfriend." Despite not being able to see it, the kunoichi could see the outlines of a smirk hiding behind his mask.

"Shut up, Hatake." Fuyu pulled Kakashi as an effort to hide her pink cheeks.

Teuchi greeted them happily the second they entered Ichiraku's. "On a date?" They both nodded in unison. Teuchi gave both of them a warming smile. "Well, why don't you order something quickly and I'll leave you two lovebirds alone. Come on Ayame." He pulled his daughter away, who was busy congratulating her overly blushing friend.

Kakashi actually liked the Fuyu in front of him right now. This Fuyu seemed less loud, and she keeps blushing at the mention of the word 'date'. An idea suddenly popped into his head.

"Is this perhaps.. the first time you're dating someone?" Kakashi couldn't stop himself from taunting her. This is going to be fun.

Face burning red, Fuyu covered her face with her hands and nodded very slowly. Kakashi leaned his face near to hers and took her hands away. "It makes me happy... to know I get to be your first date."

They both turned when Teuchi had coughed very loudly with two bowls of miso in his hands.

Fuyu considered looking at Kakashi while they ate but immediately halted her intentions. She is curious, but he'll show it soon, hopefully.

"How was your mission?" The silence was eating her out alive. Hastily, the kunoichi tried starting a conversation. Eyes still glued to her food, she hears as the Copy Nin tells about his latest mission.

"Had a new jounin as my comrade this time. And I think she admires me."

"Admire?" Fuyu didn't realise she snapped her chopstick to half.

"Yeah well, she was clingy. So I decided to say "I can't wait to return back so I could go on a date with my princess. You should have seen the look on her face when I said princess." He literally pressed on the word princess, making the girl stopped her actions, her cheeks as red as the Hokage's hat.

"You know, I think Icha Icha should have a princess theme chapter. Don't you think?"

"Kakashi....." Her blush had definitely worsened. They finished their food and left Ichiraku's.

"Come to think of it, you just finished a mission too, right?" Fuyu nodded. Her arms were hesitant to link it with Kakashi's. She was about to let go when she felt someone linked her arms with his. "Tell me, was it okay?" Smiling, Fuyu told him about the simple D-rank mission Tsunade had given her.

"She's worried I'll go haywire again. Honestly, she shouldn't be too worried." Fuyu softly sighed. "I don't think I'll ever lose control for a long time, though....."

"Why is that?" Fuyu couldn't ignore the warmth coming from the Copy Nin as she closed their distance.

"I just simply lose it the moment I see someone I care get hurt. And well... Iruka, Kurenai and Sakura can take good care of themselves pretty well." Fuyu simply ignored Kakashi pouting before she continued her sentence.

"Although.... if something ever happens to you, I don't think I'll be sane anymore." She turned to him, and gave a small smile.

She could have swore she saw the Copy Nin blushed as red as her right now.

"Does this mean you'll go crazy everytime I have chakra depletion?" He playfully asked her.

"... No." She softly hummed when Kakashi let her head rest on his shoulder. Poking his chest, Fuyu let out a dorky smile. "You and chakra depletion are like friends, Hatake. Besides, it wouldn't hurt to see you get constantly nagged by Tsunade-sama."

"I wish I could call you by your surname like how you do to me." Kakashi didn't realise he had reached into an uncomfortable topic. Fuyu stayed still, her mind seemed to drift into somewhere. She snapped out of it, before letting out a quiet reply.

"I'll tell you..... soon. Promise." Kakashi smiled. Seems like Iruka's point on dating is true.

Fuyu was startled when she felt something covering her eyes. "We're going to somewhere special. Will you trust me on this?" He felt her cheeks were getting a little warm when Kakashi started whispering to her ears.

"Ma... if I've known you'll be warm by this, I would have used this trick a long time ago."

"Shut it, Hatake."
"I like when you do that." Fuyu's cheeks were burning red, and added with that husky voice of the Copy Nin... she couldn't help but shiver.

"W-We're not going to The Dark Forest, right?"

"Nope, we're going somewhere really special." Fuyu smiled as the Copy Nin guided her way.

From afar, five pairs of eyes were watching the couple walked through Konoha's street.

"Is Kakashi going to be kinky with Snowy?"

"I'LL KILL HIM IF HE DOES-"

"Calm down, Iruka. He's not going to do it on the first date."

"How do YOU know, Kurenai?"

"Do you want to bet if he does it, Iruka?"

"Tsunade-sama!! Don't bet on things like this!!!!"
