She dreamt she was in an icy cold castle. Walking through the quiet hallway, she stopped walking the moment her eyes caught her reflection in the icy walls.

Her eyes were blue.

"You look tired." Kakashi said as he examined his lover carefully when she entered the hospital room. "Did something happened to you?" Fuyu shook her head as a response.

"I, of all the people in Konoha can sense that you already heard what happened yesterday at the arena, Kakashi." Fuyu let her hair flowed down while she sits nearer to Kakashi. The Copy-Nin let out a soft sigh.

"Why now?" He took in Fuyu's scent. "For so long, they've been fine without a queen. Why the sudden change?" He watched as she remained still as a stone. She probably doesn't know too.

"I'm scared." Fuyu whispered quietly. "I don't want to leave Konoha. I don't want to leave ... you." Drops of tears started to stain Kakashi's bedsheet. "I know it's a responsibility I have to take but........ I think there's others who can do it. Besides," She couldn't finish her sentence as Kakashi forced himself to rise and kiss her. The kiss was long, as both of them took in the moment deeply.

"You're going to recover longer if you force yourself like that again." Fuyu playfully pushed him down, tears still flowing down her cheeks.

"I feel fine." Kakashi rolled his eyes. "And please, stop crying. We'll make sure everything will go well. Promise."

------------------------------

"You look like you're on cloud nine." Kurenai's smile widened as Fuyu greeted her at Ichiraku's. "Did something happen?" Kurenai pulled Fuyu towards her and whispered to her ear.

"I'm pregnant, Fuyu. Can you believe this?"

"Woah." The snow-haired girl literally dropped her jaws. "Congratulations!!! Have you told him yet?" The genjutsu master shook her head. "Wanted to make it a surprise for him later on." Fuyu hugged her dear friend, happy for both of them as well.

"Question; when will you and Kakashi have a child? But ah, you're still so young.... You have plenty of time." Kurenai stiffled a giggle upon Fuyu's fierce blushing. "You don't have to be shy, the whole village supports you guys."

"It's not that I'm worried about......." Fuyu played with her fingers. Nobody knows that the two haven't done it yet. Thanks to Tsunade's hobby of sending them on missions (which often leads to a hospitalized Kakashi), they barely have time to think about personal things.

But the Fuyuhana was willing to bet her soul that her 'wonderful' boyfriend actually has a few thoughts of fullfilling his fantasies with her. Especially since he had finish reading Icha Icha Tactics. (God knows how much she feels like throwing that book away.)

"Hello? Fuyu???" Kurenai snapped her fingers in front of her friend, who seemed lost in her thought. "I didn't expect you would think so deeply about that." She laughed.

Fuyu looked at Kurenai intensely. Her curiousity had peaked the moment she dropped the question. "How was it....... when you guys did it?"

"WHAT." Kurenai scratched her non itchy head. "Funny, seems like you both have never done it if you.... asked.... that.... question...."

"Fuyu, you have GOT to be kidding me." Kurenai was hoping her friend was joking, but when Fuyu didn't reply her question, she couldn't help but ask.

"Why? I mean, if I were you, I would have gotten him the moment we were both free." Fuyu tried to think of a way to answer Kurenai's question. She couldn't think of any other way than...... No, it's too risky to tell Kurenai now.

"I'll tell you later." She stood up and left the shop. "One day, I guess." Fuyu mumbled as she jumped from building to building. She stopped halfway as her thoughts were filled with images of Kurenai and Asuma holding a baby, smiling at her, who was apparently watching them from above a ice castle-

You can't run no more, Queen Nami. The words haunted her day by day. She heaved out a sigh, until her eyes caught attention of two familiar figures in the streets of Konoha.

"Sakura and Naruto are back already?" She jumped down from the rooftop and landed perfectly on the street. Fuyu was about to approach them when she had overheard their discussion.

"Have you noticed Kakashi-sensei has been in deep thought when we visited him just now?" Fuyu could hear the concern in Naruto's voice.
"Yeah, I wonder why......"
"I hope it doesn't involve anything about his relationship with Fuyu, I mean like.... he'll get distracted easily and things-"

Fuyu moved backwards slowly. She entered a dark alley, holding her tears until she was confident Naruto and Sakura were out of her radar.

"You're just a burden to him, my queen. Why don't you return to your kingdom and be functional?" Fuyu pushed the voice away, on the verge of losing it.

"Stay any longer in Konoha, and he might get injured because of you. Or worse..."

The kunoichi sprinted herself towards her apartment. The voice was getting louder by the second. Hell, whose voice was it???? Opening her seals, she couldn't react fast enough as someone grabbed her by her hand and embraced her.

She didn't want to let Iruka see her tears, so she kept her face hidden away on his chest. "Why are you here?" She tried to keep her voice stable but it failed endlessly.

"We have something to talk about, Nami." Iruka stressed on pronouncing her real name. "And I want no secrets at all." Iruka only let out a sigh as the girl started to sob loudly, finally breaking down after holding it for so long.

Back at the Final Stage.....

"And right now, I'm just happy our queen was able to watch me just now."

It didn't take Iruka long to figure out who the genin was referring to. Watching Fuyu ran away from the arena was enough proof anyway. The man had started researching about the Snow Islands and recovered tons of information upon the lost princess.

Lost, or better yet explained as lived in another village for almost all of her life.

Iruka couldn't help but felt a bit mad when Kakashi had known it first. But it was better late than never.

He tightened his embrace as the sobs slowed down. He looked at the girl, whom he sees as his own little sister finally out of tears and sobs. Fuyu calmed herself as she began to tell her story. More tears came out, but Iruka was sure Nami could not hear the silent heartache inside him.

He realised he was risking himself. But for the love and promise he made with Sandaime, he was willing to made some sacrifices for her happiness.
