Nico was getting enraged at this point. He didn't get to eat anything since the ferry ride and now there is this annoying bloke making them wait another hour. Nico didn't even bring anything aside from himself and the latest volume of Nisekoi which he already read thirty three times. He barged into his room to find a happy surprise. In his temporary abode were bookshelves upon bookshelves of manga. Attack on Titan, Date Alive, you name it, it was there. Not only were there the classics, there were series that were up to date. Right next to it was a bed larger than any that he has ever seen before.
Instinctively, he pounced onto the bed like a trampoline. Rolling around and squirming deeper into the soft fluffy pillows he heard the sounds of paper crinkling. Slowly lifting the pillow, he saw multiple clips of records. All of them were about large sums of money going missing. Flipping the sheets over, he saw someone left a note for him.
You can't hide your trail.
Nico's hands were shaking as he re-read the message again and again. It did not leave his attention that the message was in a deep shade of red. Dazed, he slowly put the message back where it was, and tiptoed out of the room. His appetite had vanished.
