Alex rolled out of bed. He opened his door and peeked out into the hallway. He had heard a door open and close. Not yet in full control of his senses, he stumbled past all of the rooms, announcing his presence to everyone. He awoke from his sleepwalking when he heard three bangs. They seemed to be coming from above. He looked around once again, his heart hammering in his chest. This was too similar to all of his video games and he never really liked horror games. He retreated to his door and attempted to calm his breathing down. Frantic as he was, he heard one more bang from the right end of the hallway. Alex squinted closer; for a moment he saw a figure waving. He swung open his door and slammed it shut. Still visibly shaking, Alex felt rattled. Before he crawled back to bed he made a vow to himself. I'm getting out of here he promised himself.
