Wasn't this supposed to be a support group session where we plan our rebellion over tea and crumpets? thought Nico. Well first of all, there was no tea. He hadn't realized how dysfunctional they all were when it came to working together. Crumpets would've helped lighten the mood. Crumpets are amazing. They were all crazy but, they had been really good at hiding it. Or not. But the whole point of the gathering was to form a plan and get something done. Recreational time was the one time of day when they could be sure that people like Kyle weren't listening in on their conversations. Actually, they couldn't be sure. They could never be sure. And that's what makes this alliance so stupid. Who can we trust? Nobody knows. Hell, even one of us could be the killer. We can't even go five minutes without arguing anymore. This stupid alliance.
