Maira woke up with a start. She fumbled with her glasses and peered over at her alarm clock. It read 2:00 am. She was about to go back to sleep before she heard something moving in the room to her left. Wait. There isn't a room left to mine... I am the last one on this side of the hall... she thought. Confused, Maira opened her door and scanned the hallway. There seemed to be no change to the identical doors lining the hall. She shuffled back over to the wall beside her bed and pressed her ear to it. Maira, you look like an idiot she thought to herself. But still, she listened. There it was again. Maira strained to hear what lay beyond the neatly painted walls. She thought it sounded like far away footsteps.

"But how is that possible?" She whispered into the darkness.

Maira slowly peeled herself away from the mysterious sound and climbed back into her bed. Maira, you're absolutely paranoid she thought as she crept back into bed. She was asleep in seconds. It would all seem like a dream when she woke up next morning.

AN: I just realized that chapter six is a pretty creepy chapter. I'm like wow, did I really write this? So yeah! My favourite part of this chapter is the last one. Oh, and if you noticed, I wrote "favourite" and "colour" and some other words with a "u" or in a weird way, and that's because we're Canadian, (no we don't say aboot). So if you think we are misspelling, think again!

So please, vote, comment and follow!

Peace out and enjoy!
