Chapter Ten

"Did you not have any sleep at night?"
He got disturbed by the stinging voice that made him raise his head from the desk.
"Yeah..i couldn't sleep.." He replied opening only one eye while viewing the beautiful person infront of him.
"By the way akihito kun what is schedule for today?"
"Ah i forgot to share yesterday, here i made a copy of timetable and syllabus at home while texting you yesterday.." Akihito handed a few papers over to Austin
"What's with the red marks?" Austin could barely make sense of the words considering his eyes would constantly bulge in out of drowsiness.
"It's the course that we have covered already so you'll have to do it on your own since you came in the middle of the year.." Akihito explained leaning closer.
"Huh a bunch of f&*#$" a voice came in from behind and both boys looked back at the person.
"Igarashi shuichi.." Austin mumbled viewing the spiky hair boy approaching to sit on seat behind Austin's as per his seat arrangement.
"Don't give him much thought.." Akihito brushed Austin back into looking at the timetable.

"Yuna hun, thanks for everything.. " Aurora was in middle of conversation on telephone with yuna when Takahashi came in yawning into kitchen. The loud speaker was on since Aurora was cooking, Takahashi went to sink starting to do the dishes while she was at it before both could leave for work.
"Ah reminds me, i haven't met my nephew and nieces ever since i came here...ne yuna bring em' over sometime.." Takahashi said
"How lazy can you be!!! Freakin come over yourself and meet them!!" Even the cellphone shook with the fearsome voice that came from the other side.
"Why is she angry..?" Takahashi looked back at Aurora who slapped his head instead.
"We'd love to come over sweetie, just tell me when you're free.." Aurora said.
After a pausing silence "well if we were to wait for holidays it's Monday and i don't want to wait a whole week for having you over just c'mere when Austin comes back from school.. I bet he'd make good friends with his cousins.." Yuna spoke calmly through the phone.
"Done then..talk later sweetie" Aurora decided after making some eye to eye conversation with Takahashi.
"Best of luck for your interview RiRi chan.." Yuna spoke before disconnecting.
"RiRi?" Takahashi giggled drying each dish he just washed.
"She nicknamed me..it's sort of cute.." Aurora turned off the stove and covered the cooking pot "alright hun, I'm heading off..." She said taking off her blue apron and heading out
"Wait, drop me too if you're taking the car..." Takahashi followed leaving a spoon behind in the sink.

"Sure..though i brought my own lunch today.." Austin spoke stuffing all the books in his bag.
"Alright I'll get something from café then , where should i find you?" Akihito asked getting his bag.
"I'll be on rooftop then" Austin replied abruptly.
..
"Honey, lock the upstairs too.." Aurora shouted before getting car keys and her purse heading out of the house.
"Alright.." Takahashi buttoned up his shirt running barefoot upstairs to lock the second floor's door. He grabbed the knob trying to close it but for some reason it felt jammed, he pulled it over and over but it just wouldn't close "dang it's stuck" he cursed a bit watching around that nobody heard him since it was against family rules to use curse words then sighed. He moved the door back open in order to see if anything was stuck in the rim when he suddenly felt like he heard someone running inside.
"Who's there?" He immediately asked but everything up there was dark and silent, he switched on the light to the second floor's hallway and walked in "hello?" He tried to focus carefully for any sounds and ended up standing infront of door to Austin's room. Reaching his hand to the knob he grabbed it about to turn it a little while placing his ear next to the door..he slightly twisted the knob over about to push it open when suddenly the bulb made electrocuting sounds and it's fuse went off. The hallway was dark once again "what the hell..?" Takahashi removed his hand from the knob trying to find his way through the dark when he tripped over something soft in his way "what was that?" He felt what caused him to slip, there was something on the floor which seemed wet and soft he felt it till he slowly moved his fingers inside an opening "...what ..is this" he couldn't see in the dark but obviously his fingers could feel sharp edges inside the hole until it suddenly closed and bit his fingers harshly. Takahashi started to yell in pain and in fear, something was mercilessly biting his fingers and not letting go.. "Aurora!!!!! Aurora!!!!!!" He yelled for his wife throwing kicks and pulling to get his hands free at the same time, he couldn't calm down even when he heard the sound of Aurora's sandals rapidly running over the steps.
"Honey where are you?!!!" She said trying to turn in the switch but it wouldn't turn on so she took her cellphone turning its flash on and ran off following her husband's voice.
"Aurora! " Takahashi heavily breathing, his heart felt nearly to his throat..he was more afraid of the fact that he couldn't see where his fingers were stuck rather then for having them stuck.
"Baby..baby you okay?!" Aurora rushed to Takahashi and suddenly hugged him "what's wrong baby..?!" She rubbed his back pretty panicked herself.
"My hand...my...my .hand..." Takahashi breathed heavily into her chest while she hugged him
"Your hand? What?" She couldn't get what he was saying.
"I can't free it..i can't.. I..." He was panting heavily she could feel his shivers
"Free what?" She grabbed her cellphone and pointed the flash at the direction of his arm which he was awkwardly holding to the back she reached and grabbed his hand, intertwining her fingers with his "what's wrong with your hand honey? Does it hurt or something?" She asked trying to figure out what he was trying to say.
When Austin felt Aurora's fingers intertwined with his own he looked back and saw nothing but empty floor "but i...there was..."
"It's okay sweetie....." She mumbled rubbing his back.
"But...i..it ..no .."

Austin seated next to a wall unpacking his lunch box that had rice with meat and some Russian salad in a corner, he had spoon since he wasn't still accustomed to using chopsticks.
"Eating alone?"
He heard a voice and raised his head, looking up at the guy which completely made Austin's cheeks redden up since it was the same guy he saved from bullies first and ended up kissing as well.
"Mind if i join?" The guy smiled sweetly
"Sure.." Austin said unsurely and moved a bit giving space to the guy, the guy sat in next to Austin opening his tiffin and separating disposable chopsticks revealing his neat lunch with veg rice.
Austin felt awkward and remained silent until he felt like he had to say something "sorry..for the other day..."
The guy continued chewing on his food with closed mouth and gulped before speaking "don't worry, you tripped right?" He smiled brightly
"Eh...um..yeah.." Austin went with the flow, obviously it was less embarrassing that the guy thought tripped rather than the reality.
"Your subject.. I mean what are you studying.. ?" Austin asked with a hesitating tone.
"Fine arts and literature, you know painting and sculpturing mostly.. I draw backgrounds for the acting club too.." He replied a bit more indulged into chewing.
"I'm doing literature and drama.." Austin spoke after a pause.
"Oh, then we must be in same class with one or two subjects i guess.." He replied.
"I guess..yeah.." Austin was still not confident in looking at him but he raised his gaze a little and looked at the guy's pale yet beautiful neck which was exposed because he probably loosened his tie.
"How's the sky today?" The guy said raising his head to the sky resting it against the wall.
Austin was dumbfounded, was the dude seriously asking him about weather? "It's not bright i guess..though with those moving clouds..i think we might have rain by the evening.." Austin replied looking up as well.
"Is that so...thank goodness i brought my umbrella then..." The boy sighed.
"Austin!" Akihito's voice came from the stairs as if he was looking for Austin.
"I'll head back now..i have class.." The boy next to Austin stood up closing the lid of his half empty lunch box.
"Um..yeah.." Austin couldn't say much he just seemed to look at the guy's ass from the corner of his eyes as he walked away.

"Thanks for coming on such a short notice.." Aurora pulled up a blanket on Takahashi who was asleep.
"It's okay..i was free since my kids were at school anyway.." Yuna spoke sipping coffee from the mug standing against the door.
"I should be here with him...i feel bad.." Aurora brushed Takahashi's hair back from his forehead the dog was also sitting near the bed as if it was sadly looking over at the guy.
"Just go nail yo interview idiot, I'm here beside I've been taking care of his darkness phobia ever since he was young.." Yuna sighed.
"I thought his phobia went away since he could normally sleep in the dark for past few years..." Aurora spoke then kissed his forehead "I'm sorry honey.." She got up and grabbed her purse "please take care of him.." She said to yuna who pushed her out lightly and went inside the rook sitting on bed next to her brother.
"Don't make us worry so much idiot..." She spoke grabbing her peacefully asleep brother's hand while sipping on her coffee.
Her eyes averted to the hand she was holding
"and don't get hurt too often either idiot, you always used to worry mom with bruises like these when we were kids..."
..... She spoke holding his fingers that seemed bruised to the point they looked a little blue......
