Chapter Fourty- One

"I've been waiting"
He stood with a sheepish grin next to a huge cross with a boy tied over it in a crucifying pose having his head hung low.
"Reiji" The man who just came in walking from behind the trees mumbled with clenched fists.
"Do you remember this place Takahashi? A beautiful red leaved tree stood her 12 years ago..." Austin spoke sliding his hand against the wood of the cross "now it's just empty space among many common trees...though in my eyes i still see that red tree..." Austin went on.
"How'd you come back to life?" Takahashi asked directly.
"Oh you mean after you killed me and buried me right under the tree we got married under?" Austin raised a brow.
"I don't know how you did it but...let that boy go" Takahashi gritted his teeth referring to Akihito.
"I didn't do it without help ofcourse, Do you remember my teacher Mr. Eugene?" Austin tilted his head.
"..that name...The dark arts teacher who spoke Spanish right?" Takahashi replied with a guessing tone.
"Right on, how careless can you be...did you think i did not have resources?" Austin smirked.
"No way..." Takahashi's eyes widened.
"Yeah, Mr. Eugene owed me a favor for saving his life once...so few years after i passed away he started seeing your son but you were both too busy in your own disgusting love story that you didn't bother looking at what torment your boy was going through every single day" Austin laughed.
"What do you mean..?" Takahashi asked.
"Mr. Eugene kept on feeding him my dead meat that he preserved, little by little everyday... Until the boy started to lose himself right infront of your eyes..." Austin replied.
Takahashi could almost vomit hearing that but what made him feel worst was the feeling that in terms of protecting his son from becoming what he is he totally neglected him.
"Well ofcourse he did put up a fight..it was so troublesome that he'd try to break mirrors, leave footsteps or messages but i took care of them all before his futile struggle started to fall apart but i did a good job suppressing him and making him forget things by torturing him every night...every night he'd put up a brave fight only to forget it in morning.." Austin smirked.
Takahashi couldn't control anymore and ended up throwing up in a corner.
"But that wasn't complete, i needed more to be able to fully control him....while i got you kidnapped setting up Isshi, during that time i locked the boy in a cupboard filled with lime grass till he was forced to hand control over to me...."
"Stop it..." Takahashi felt sick to his gut.
"Ah let's not forget Asuza kun..he had been a great help in playing psychological games and making human looking dolls to deceive your son's psychological state and make him feel helpless and induce terror into him..."
"Stop it!" Takahashi yelled hitting at the tree.
"Heh but that's not all of it, i got Tsubaki chan kidnapped because she was starting to suspect Asuza kun so if i were to feed her a living human being she'd lose her sanity without getting killed herself... I'm not that cruel to kill my cute little niece.." He shrugged.
Takahashi stood up and came running at him to punch him but he immediately dodged.
"Ah but then that damn Isshi started to interfere..he tried to kill me once but failed so i ignored but the other day he got so close to catching my servants though thank goodness you were also there that day near warehouse and he ended up having a brawl with you and i used that time to make that boy eat Mr Eugene that Asuza kun nicely killed for me..."
"Why did you kill Eugene wasn't he your comrade?!" Takahashi came at him again but got dodged over.
"Well ofcourse but he was starting to doubt us and called Isshi to warehouse to tell him the truth...we had no choice" Austin shrugged " but after eating him i gained immense energy to maintain myself without disappearing, he was a truly good sacrifice ah but then isshi started to get what we were upto so we purposefully lured Isshi into a trap to keep him away"
"You're disgusting" Takahashi spat in anger.
"What about you? Isn't this all your fault in first place..?" Austin's smirk disappeared "your betrayal killed me long time ago Takahashi... What's standing here is my will to destroy everything that you left my side for..i loved you..." He clenched fists.
"Shutup!" Takahashi brought forth his hand and snakes formed under him starting to diverge in all directions then attacked at Austin but he simply brushed them off with his bare hand.
"You're being lenient? Is it because you can't hurt this body?" Austin smirked "i assure you...he's not there anymore... Hit me with all you got till i get a reason to kill you" he smiled "no one is coming, Isshi Yuna Tsubaki Asuza...no one is with you anymore unlike last time...you'll be devoured by me"
"Then devour me...let the kid on that cross go..." Takahashi gave up his defensive posture.
"Huh?" Austin raised a brow.
"You're right, it's because i betrayed you that i dragged all these people with me...their lives are hell because of me...i wasn't able to protect my own son" tears started streaming down his cheeks "so use me as sacrifice to regain your life and leave all these people alone..i beg you" Takahashi got on his knees while sobbing and bowed his head too.
Austin became quiet for a while but then the frown on his forehead became deeper "To hell with that pitiful logic of yours! All it shows me is that those people are something worth sacrificing for while I'm a scumbag who doesn't deserve love!" Austin yelled pretty pissed off.
"What else do you want huh!!" Takahashi yelled back crying.
"I want you to love me and only me! I want you to sacrifice those people for my love!" Austin yelled back with a fearsome look.
"I don't get it ok! I don't! All i know is you're hurting people around me and i gotta stop you!" Takahashi yelled back standing up and throwing dirt in his eyes rushing towards Akihito but out of sudden Asuza jumped infront out of nowhere and kicked Takahashi far off. Austin cringed for a while because of dirt in his eyes but then soon got rid of it.
"It's over Takahashi" Austin spoke and Asuza came to him handing him a sword "the boy will be sacrificed and you can't do anything about it because you're all alone"
"You're wrong" A fourth voice came in from behind and both Austin and Asuza turned looking back at Tsubaki who stood there with a knife in her hand during that time Akihito slowly started gaining consciousness and blinked rapidly until his vision started to form in and he remembered how he was hit in back of head while heading home earlier. It made him cringe a little but then he heard voices and raised his head looking at the situation.
"Tsubaki chan?" Asuza mumbled.
"I didn't think you'd be this bad Asuza nii..well i did know you faked alot of things but still....the moment i saw your picture in my room it filled in everything from the last image in my mind when you held a knife on dad's neck" she mumbled.
"Tsubaki go back, i don't want to hurt you" Asuza pulled out his own knife as well.
"You don't sound too convincing with that knife" she came at him with full force and he got on defensive, both started to throw kicks and swing knives while dodging each other's attacks, their arms and face had become scaled in a shiny lead coloured skin as they went on attacking in a non human speed.
"My my...that was sort of unexpected" Austin sighed but then looked at Akihito who was trembling in fear to the point he pissed himself.
Takahashi got up and transformed a little as well rushing over to Austin but it was no use he immediately threw him back off heading to Akihito drawing his sword when a hooded figure jumped infront of Akihito from sky and his hood flew off due to the air pressure, a black spiky haired dude with many piercings, grey eyes and glasses, Austin's eyes widened seeing the new comer but even Akihito felt like he had seen this guy somewhere before until he realized if the guy's glasses were removed and he had dark black eyes instead of grey then it was none other then....

"Igaraishi Shuichi!!!!!"

"Yo, long time no see nii sama" he smirked
"Oh boy oh boy i almost didn't recognize you with that black dyed hair" Austin chuckled.
"Yeah being a natural red head makes you an oddball at school so i changed my style a little black hair dye and black lens...its a total drag..." Igaraishi sighed.
"It suits you actually... a perfect delinquent inside out" Austin smirked.
"So mean niisama though this innocent looking boy's body doesn't suit you at all...you should've abducted Lucifer" igaraishi smirked while Takahashi helped himself up.

"Iggi nii!" Tsubaki mumbled from far.
"You should be focussing on me!" Asuza swung the knife which she dodged in time but at loss of some hair strands.

"Oye witch niecay how many times have i told you to not call me by cheesy names!" Igaraishii pointed getting all angry.
"So do you intend to stop me?" Austin smirked pointing a sword "you've always been like that, interfering in my business"
"Heh because niisama you're terribly out of discipline" Igaraishi smirked making Austin pissed off and he swung his sword but Igaraishi dodged it.
"What's the matter do you intend to run like a mouse?" Austin mocked.
Takahashi tried to take the time to make it towards Akihito but suddenly three red hooded followers appeared infront him like last time and he started fighting them off.
Igaraishi dodged a couple of times before finally succeeding in disarming Austin engaging in a hand to hand combat with him in a slightly transformed form.
Takahashi stalled the three well and managed to kill one of them while it was a constant tie between Asuza and Tsubaki.
"We aren't getting anywhere like this" Austin frowned and immediately formed snakes which Igaraishi was ready to chop but instead of sending it in his direction he smirked and directed them towards Tsubaki.
"Oh shit!" Igaraishi immediately rushed but didn't get time to chop them instead he stood using his back as a shield before they'd reach tsubaki and soon Takahashi formed his own snakes defeating the others, killing the red hooded people but during all this confusion they lost track of Austin.
"Too late!!!!!"
He yelled with a huge grin and rushed in forcing the sword through the flesh, blood started to drain as if coming from a tap on the cross...

....Asuza, Tsubaki, Takahashi,Akihito Igaraishi....
....no...
.....even Austin's eyes widened as he held the sword that went in piercing through the chest and tore out of flesh from the other side.

The weather had been dark since morning

...they had been expecting rain...

Why was it raining red...?

She stood in between both boys with blood on their faces and coughed blood herself with widened eyes yet a smile on her face, her beautiful hair hung forward from each side of her neck.

The blood started getting sucked within the cursed soil that demanded more and more of it and kept on absorbing it.

Austin's pupils started to lose their grey and became red in color while tears streamed down his widened eyes...

His coffee brown hair danced with the wind in synchronization to her coffee brown hair...

"...Ma..."
