Chapter Eighteen

"Does it hurt"
"No its okay.." Austin replied to the nurse who applied band aids on his arm, while she was doing it she couldn't help but look at Austin's neck having those marks that looked like hickeys. Austin wasn't really unaware of those, he uncomfortably covered it with his hand.
"Well then ma'am, please take care he doesn't accidentally rip them again" the nursed pointed to the IVs on his other arm.
"Sure" Aurora stood worried near the bed and waited for the nurse to leave.
"I don't know" Austin mumbled.
"Eh?" Aurora raised a brow.
"You're gonna ask what's going on with me right...i don't know.." Austin replied and Aurora sat next to him on bed.
"Can you try...i mean try explaining to me..?" Aurora asked.
"Mom..do you know someone by the name re..." Before Austin could complete Tsubaki barged in with Asuza behind her.
"Is it because i call you a pervert!? " tsubaki asked the first thing that came in her mind.
"Ehhhhh???" Austin was surprised by the sudden intruders moreover the question didn't make sense to him.
"Why brat why, why do this do you not realize how worried your mom is?!" Tsubaki said putting both hands on Aurora's shoulders from behind and shook her to make a point.
"Uwahh kid he knows" Aurora settled her hair down that stood from extreme shaking.
"Aunt you're warm?" Tsubaki said touching her forehead.
"No way.." Austin reached over and grabbed her hand "mom you got a fever!"
"Calm down would ya kids, i don't have fever.." She sighed "i just haven't eaten breakfast so my blood pressure is probably down.."
"What the hell mom, you need to eat!" Austin got a bit angry.
"He's right aunt, who's gonna take care of this douche bag if you get sick too...alright get up, we're going to cafe downstairs and eat something good" she pulled Aurora up by her arm.
"But Austin.." Aurora worriedly looked back at her son.
"I'll wait here" Asuza who was standing quietly by the door until now spoke making the other three realize his presence.
"So many sweaters.." Aurora eyed the boy from head to toe who was dressed like an Inuit.
"Are you sure niichan" Tsubaki's tone went serious.
"I am" Asuza replied seriously then smiled.
The two ladies got up and left the room.
"Why's he dressed like that?" Aurora asked Tsubaki once they were out.
"...he was naturally born weak.." She answered Aurora in a low tone and it went even lower when she mumbled with a bent head and balled fists "half of which is my fault"
"Eh?" Aurora was unsure what she meant by that but she did think that maybe tsubaki blamed herself for being born with everything instead of her twin brother.

"Are you okay.." Austin ended up asking after a long uncomfortable silence.
The boy nodded and walked up feeling the bed before sitting next to Austin "Are you?"
"I'm.. unsure.." Austin replied at which Asuza moved his hand and placed it on Austin's hand.
Austin reddened up a little "you're.. Not going to ask..?"
"About?" Asuza replied.
"About what happened.." Austin replied.
"So do you have a girlfriend...?" Asuza asked out of blue which surprised Austin because Asuza couldn't have actually seen those hickeys or could he?
"how'd you.." Austin didn't want to be rude but it was weird.
"Don't misunderstand , it's because i heard the nurse talking to someone on my way here, she said one of her foreigner patients had dark hickeys"
"Why is she advertising it!" Austin covered his eyes in embarrassment.
"..it's kinda vulgar here to have those unlike in US so..probably" Asuza replied, he had a tensed expression to his face "you have a girlfriend then?"
"Not really.." Austin replied, come to think of it he hadn't even talked to any girl in school "you're really not gonna ask the suicide thing?"
"Would you have an answer if i do?" Asuza replied.
"Eh not really.. " Austin replied.
"You're alive, that's all i need to know" Asuza replied.
"What do you mean?" Austin got confused, he also noticed how Asuza was holding his hand tightly.
"Listen" Asuza leaned in and whispered something to Austin's ear making his eyes widened.

"Oye idiot brother where are you?" Yuna came inside once she noticed the door was open, rei rei rushed to her and she patted his head "boi, you know where Takahashi is?"
The dog barked moving its head to the stairs "good boi" she took way and walked upstairs "jeez making me come all the way here to check on her lazy hubby, Aurora chan better treat me later" yuna spoke outloud while walking to the hallway.
The lights were on and door to Austin's room was wide open too
"Oye bakanii (idiot bro) , where you at.." She walked inside to the room noticing it was empty and the bag full of clothes was placed on the bed with a note
"Something came up, take this to the hospital"
"Ah jeez, I'm gonna beat him to pulp that lazy ass" yuna clenched her teeth.

"What do you mean he ran away?" Aurora punched at the wall.
"Whoa aunt calm down we'll find him.." Tsubaki tried to calm down Aurora while Asuza stood by the open window turning his face in the direction of the wind while tsubaki looked at her brother's serious expression almost a fearful one because she had never seen such a frown on his smiling face before.
"I'm going to find him" Aurora took a resolve and rushed outta the room.
"Niichan?" Tsubaki placed a hand on her brother's shoulder.
"Go with her.." He spoke with his back towards his sister.
She stepped back with a worried expression then slowly moved away to rush after Aurora.
Asuza stood by the window recalling what he whispered into Austin's ear.
