Annie's POV-
"I'm here to see Miranda Wood." I lent on the desk looking at the middle aged nurse. We arrived in England an hour ago, Luke had gone to drop our bags off at my house while I got a taxi here.

It was currently 3:47pm in the afternoon and mum had been in hospital for 14 hours now.

"Floor 2, Ward 3." I thanked her than ran to the sign.

I traced my fingers over the words.
"Floor 2, ward 1, 2." I sighed in relief.
"Ward 3." I ran to the lift and pressed the button.

I got to the floor and found the ward.

"Do you know what bed Miranda Wood is on?" The doctor clicked on the computer and looked at the plan of the ward.
"She's in bed 5 but she's currently in surgery, you can wait outside though."
"Thank you."

Counting the beds, I found bed 5 and saw my brother sitting on a chair outside.

Caleb has had a tough life so far and he is only 15. With everything that went on with Jack and dad, he fell behind a lot with his friends and school work.

"Bro." I said. He looked up at me and immediately got up and hugged me.
"Annie, I'm so glad your here, I've missed you so much."
"I've missed you too kiddo." I started to cry.
"How's mum? What happened to her?"
"She got hit by a car on the way back from work, some bones in her leg moved so she's in surgery now to realign them. I'm scared Annie." I squeezed him tighter.
"Don't worry, she'll be fine, she's always is."
"Where's dad?"
"He is at home bringing some clothes for me."
"You can't stop the night, you have school."
"So? Mums more important."
"She wouldn't want you missing out on school Caleb, I'll ring dad and tell him that I'll look after you at home."
"But I don't want you not seeing mum."
"I'll see her, she won't be awake for a while."

I walked out of the ward and pulled out my phone.

"Dad?"
"Darling, did you get here okay?"
"Yeah, I'm in the hospital with Caleb, come back and don't bring any clothes."
"Why? Is your mum okay?"
"She's still in surgery, I'll look after Caleb at home, which will allow him to go to school."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, someone needs to be there for mum and Caleb can't miss school, plus he needs someone to look after him and I have nothing to do. You need to take some stuff for you to the hospital and I will take Caleb home."
"Your dad would be so proud of you, thank you so much Annie. Your so mature now and it makes me very proud to call you my daughter."
"I love you dad."
"I love you too, sweetie. Now, get back to your brother, he'll be waiting. I'm on my way now, Luke is making some dinner so get a taxi home and I'll ring you if anything happens, okay?"
"Okay, thank you, I'll see you soon."
"Bye."

Me and Caleb were in the taxi on the way back home. It felt weird being back in England and driving past my old school.

"How's school?"
"It's good I guess, I'm doing well."
"Any girls on the scene?"
"Nope, my ex dumped me, a couple months back."
"Mum didn't say anything."
"That's because you never ring her." He laughed.
"True."
"How about you? Any boyfriends?" I shook my head.
"No."
"I saw Avery the other day, she said she was still behind the desk at her job."
"I called her a few months back, I might see her while I'm here."
"So, how long are you here?"
"Don't know yet, I'm not sure how long me and Luke can have off college."
"Luke's here?" I nodded.
"He insisted he came."
"Why would he want to come?" I couldn't really say because we are dating and that he wanted to support now could I?
"He wanted to come and help out." He nodded his head.

We got to our house, I paid the driver and got out.

I opened the door and smelt the food which smelt amazing.
"I've made lasagna." Luke said as he took it out the oven. To be fair to him, he did a great job.
"You've grown another 3 inches haven't you?" Luke smiled as he walked over to hug Caleb.
"And you haven't got any more funnier have you?" Caleb replied.
"Good to see you again."
"Same goes to you."

We sat at the table and ate the lasagna. Things were still intense between me and Luke. I'm still so angry at him but I couldn't shout at him at a time like this.

"Hey Caleb, leave the plates, go and take a shower, you have school in the morning." He put the plates on the table and then went upstairs.

"So what's the situation?" Luke asked as we carried the plates to the sink.
"Somethings wrong in mum's leg so she's having surgery at the moment, Dad is going to stay up there overnight and I said we would stay here and look after Caleb."
"Sounds good, when can we see your mum?"
"Don't know, I'll probably go tomorrow. I'm really tired, I think I'm just going to have a shower and then go to bed."
"What are the sleeping arrangements?"
"I'll sleep in my old bed, you can either have my floor or the sofa."
"I'll take the sofa thanks."

"Okay, I would've offered you to sleep with me but number one, Caleb doesn't know about us and number two, I'm still angry at you for what you did."
"You know I'm sorry Annie." I took off the washing up gloves and placed them on the counter. I quietly sighed.
"Yeah but sorry might not cut it this time." I whispered as I walked up stairs, regretting what I just said.

This chapter was prewritten.

I thought it was only appropriate to address the current Janoskians situation. Last night, Luke announced that James was no longer apart of them and they will be going their separate ways. Obviously, this has made me so sad as I'm a massive fan of them and it makes me cry everytime I see a photo that James isn't in.

I will still be including James in the story and he will be still in the janoskians in the story. Of course, I want what's best for the boys and I will always support them.

Thank you for being patient with updates and voting and commenting. It means the world to me and I'm very grateful.

In the header is what Caleb looks like as I realised I had never told you what he looked like. He is played by Jared Gilmore.
