☆24/'Come Here.'☆

Luke's POV-
We had just arrived back at the apartment.
I know what your thinking, we hardly spent anytime in England so let me rewind.

We stayed at Annie's mums on the night and in the morning, Annie gave her mum an emotional goodbye and then we went back to the hotel and then left for the airport.

"It feels so good to be back in LA." I said as I fell back on to the sofa.
"I kind of missed it, to be honest." Annie put her stuff down and joined me on the sofa.
"I'm super tired though, I didn't sleep on the flight." I yawned.
"Same, I was just watching you edit."
"I'll cook some food later if you want." I offered.
"Yeah, that would be good." She smiled.

Annie went off to have a shower as I unpacked my stuff. I found her headphones in my bag so I went into her room to put them in there. When I walked in, her phone was vibrating on her desk.
I didn't answer it cause it was an unknown number but it had rang her 6 times before then. Whoever it was, they were urgent to get hold of her.

"It's ready." I yelled. I put the spaghetti on the worktop. We didn't have a table so me and Annie always are on the sofa. While I was cooking, beau uploaded the England vlog.
"The vlog is really good, we had a great time." I nodded.
"Was there something bothering you in England?"
"No, why?" She murmured as she twiddled her fork in the pasta.
"You seemed distracted, you were acting like you did on the night you go here."
"I'm fine, honest."
"That's what you said the first night you go here."
"Luke, I'm fine. Forget about it." I didn't say anything after that. I knew Annie was hiding something and it was annoying her. It was probably professor perfect.

Annie's POV-
Luke could read me so well. How did he know I was hiding something? I felt bad for being strict with him though.

Luke finished his food and got up to wash it up. I followed.
"I'm sorry for being in a mood with you earlier." I admitted. He sat down on the left side of the sofa and leant on the arm of the sofa which had my phone on.

"I just really miss my family, it hit me in England how much I miss them." I lied. Again. And again. All I do is lie to Luke and he doesn't even know.
"Come here." He lifted up his arm as the tears rolled down my face. I scooted over and cuddled into his side. His arm wrapped around me and his hand sometimes wiped the tears away.

"I know, I miss my family in Australia too but my all my main family moved to America to support me."
"You didn't make me feel anything, you basically told me you miss the family in Australia but you have family in America so your ok."
"Oh yeah. But every time I try and make you feel better or see what's up, you bite my head off."
"I'm sorry for doing that, I've just never really had anyone who isn't my family that cares."
"So you've had no boyfriends before?"

Jack cared. Jack cared a little too much.

"Yeah but none of them cared." I lied for literally the thousandth time.
"I care, remember that." He said.
"Thanks." He kissed my head. I lifted up and wiped the mascara from my eyes.
"I'm going to go to bed." I looked around for my phone and couldn't find it.
"Have you seen my phone?"
"In your room, I put your headphones in there."
"Thank you."
"Oh, it was ringing aswell, they were desperate to get in touch." I started getting that feeling in my stomach that I always get whenever someone texts me or calls me. It was like I was a part of pretty little liars.
"Night." I rushed into my room and found my phone.

Sorry for such a late update:( I'm going to update on Monday or Tuesday aswell with a filler chapter so stay tuned for that. I also need to clarify, I know the professor wouldn't really be able to be a professor at 20 years old but just imagine he is. Also I haven't got any good books to read at the moment so if you do please comment them, if you have written a good book, feel free on this chapter to advertise it!
