"This is your only chance ladies! Go get a date and buy your tickets by the end of next Thursday! And remember it's sleepless night at Sadies so we're your pajamas! Tickets are now in sale! Only selling during lunch hurry this is the day!"

The announcements from the intercom ended with a static noise

But I'm really excited to ask my crush to sadies! I worked 2 nights in a row just to finish it up! And I'm pretty proud of myself for staying awake during the process

I also need to thank Peter he helped me out with the poster those 2 nights

He's been my best friend since high school began and I'm glad that I met him I don't think my life would've been the same without that adorable dork

"All right class dismissed"

Everyone packed up their belongings and hurried to lunch before they lunch lines and line cutters come in

It's always been a pain with cutters and all the pushing and shoving just to get through

People get hurt and I don't think people would want to be squashed with other people

That's why there's personal space

I guess they just don't know what personal space is anymore

"Hey Y/n," My best friend said as we sat at our table, "you're asking him to sadies today?" His brown orbs wandered to my poster and he slightly unrolled the poster to get a better look

"I like how you finished all the minor details, it looks really nice Y/n" he said with a warm smile plastered on his face

I smiled back and we are out lunch quickly but not too quickly I mean choking doesn't sound fun neither does it feel fun...

I stood up and Peter handed the poster to me and we walked to my crush's lunch spot

As we got closer to the cafe (we have a pizza cafe that only has...well pizza..not much to explain..:/) I was starting to feel my nerves get to me

I walked over to my crush's friend's and asked where he was while Peter was scanning through the crowd trying to search for him as well

"He's walki-well he's jogging away" Peter said and he pulled my arm to follow him

I was starting to feel really nervous I mean me and my crush talked a lot and hung out at time but it's weird this time

I shook my head signaling a 'no' to Peter and he smirked and pulled me to him

I sighed in defeat and opened my poster widely
