Hannah's POV

I got dressed in my room after my shower, my muscles sore from the particularly rough practice I'd had that afternoon and smiled to myself when I saw my new shelves. They'd been sitting in that box in the corner for a year since I bought them, Luke had refused to hang them for me and I'd been meaning to try to figure it out myself but just never got around to it.

I smiled to myself as I remembered how Harry had looked while he hung them as he stood on the ladder with his tool belt hanging from his hips, it was the stuff fantasies were made of. His biceps would flex every time he drilled in another screw and I had to keep biting my lip to hide my smile as I watched him. He had been the perfect distraction from Luke and his bullshit, and I had enjoyed our random conversation which just fueled my already huge crush on him.

He was funny, like really funny. He had great taste in music, and he didn't seem to take himself too seriously due to the fact that he would belt out random lyrics and dance with me to Sinatra in my kitchen. The voice in the back of my head kept telling me to keep my guard up, to not let myself fall for him and get my heart broken after I'd just started to put it back together, but it was quickly pushed aside every time Harry looked at me.

I finished getting dressed and grabbed my phone, hoping it had been long enough that Luke had stopped his text assault after I didn't answer his calls. I had left it at home while I went to class and practice, not wanting to deal with it until I got home. I was happy to see Niall was here when I got home from practice, it was impossible to be in a bad mood around him and I knew as soon as I turned on my phone there was a good chance my mood wouldn't be good.

I powered it back on as I headed to the living room and sat down beside Ashley as Brian and Niall played some video game. I put it down on the coffee table as it began to ping with notification after notification, the three of them slowly turning to look at me as if to ask what the hell was going on with my phone.

"Someone's phones blowing up." Niall laughed. "Got yourself a stalker?"

"Actually, I'm starting to feel like I do." I said as I looked over at Ash who just shook her head in frustration.

"I was joking..." Niall said, suddenly looking concerned. "Someone bothering you?"

Brian paused the game and leaned back into the couch and sighed, taking a sip of his beer as he looked at me. I knew what he was thinking, he didn't have to say it, but he did anyway.

"You realize I'm gonna bash his fucking head in, right?" He said simply.

I sighed as Niall looked between us, confused. Ash brought her fingers up to her temples as if trying not to say all of the things I knew she wanted to. It had been like this for months, Brian wanted to kill him, Ash wanted to kill him, and I just wanted him to go away. I'd begged Brian not to go find him on numerous occasions, knowing it would just make it worse, but I knew the longer he continued to harass me the harder it was going to get to keep Brian from hunting him down.

"Did I miss something?" Niall asked.

"Hannah's douchebag ex boyfriend won't leave her alone. Kid needs a fucking bat to the face." Brian said angrily.

"Okay, who's car we taking?" Niall said, and I couldn't stop the laugh that escaped my chest even though nobody else seemed to find it funny.

I looked at Niall, expecting the smile to appear, but it didn't. I realized he was actually serious. He was dead serious as he looked over at Brian waiting for an answer as Brian continued to seemingly stare me down. For the first time since I met him, I saw something dark in Niall that I never would have guessed was there. He had no idea who Luke was or what he'd done, but he it was clear that if Brian was ready to go Niall would follow along with no questions asked. Brian leaned forward, resting his elbows on his knees, as he looked at me as if looking for my approval for him and Niall to go find Luke.
