Hannah's POV

"Where are you!? Gem, talk to me!" He yelled as he immediately started up the car, peeling out of the parking lot as she continued to sob into the phone. Her voice was dripping with fear as she pleaded with him to help her. "I'm on my way, don't move. Just stay on the phone with me, I'm right here. I'm coming." He said as calmly as he could, clearly trying to calm her as the rage was written all over his face.

I could see his entire body seethe as sped through the streets, running red lights and blowing stop signs. The girl on the phone was sobbing uncontrollably as a man could be heard yelling in the background. The sound of someone pounding on a door took over as the girl suddenly became silent. All Harry could do was listen as there was a loud noise and she began to scream. She screamed his name one more time before the phone cut out.

"Gem?! Gemma! Fuck!!" He screamed as he threw his phone against the dashboard, so hard it bounced into the back seat behind us. He slammed his fist into the steering wheel as he rounded a corner way too fast, sending me flying into the passenger side door. His foot was flat on the floor as he sped his way past anything that happened to be in the way.

I didn't know what to say, the car was silent as his white knuckles gripped the steering wheel. My heart was racing and I had no idea who Gemma was, where we were going or what we would find once we got there. Without thinking, I reached my hand out and placed it on his arm. He jumped, as if he almost forgot I was there, before he looked over at me. I saw panic written all over his face and had no idea how to help.

He let out a frustrated growl as the car slammed to a stop. I wasn't even sure he put it in park before he reached into the back seat and grabbed a piece of pipe before jumping out of the car.

"Harry, what are you gon-"

"Stay here." He yelled before he ran up to the house and kicked the front door in before disappearing inside.

I couldn't hear any noise inside the house until Harry entered. I could hear him screaming her name, the desperation in his voice clear even from outside as he raced around trying to find her. I was contemplating going in after him when he emerged from the house carrying her in his arms. Her arms were wrapped around his neck as she cried into his chest as he carefully and protectively carried her. Before I knew it, my legs were carrying me over to them. She had clearly been beaten, her clothes were torn and her entire body had bruises forming. Her lip was cut and her eye swollen shut. My heart broke at the sight of her, I'd never seen anyone like that. I looked up at Harry as we approached the car, his expression pained but angry as I opened the door for him to place her in the back seat.

"Uh, do you mind-Can you drive?" He asked me as he fisted his hair with his hand.

"Yeah, of course." I said as I ran my hand down his arm soothingly.

I climbed in the driver's seat and adjusted the seat as Harry climbed in the back seat next to Gemma, wrapping his arms around her.

"It's okay Gem, you're safe. I'm here." He said as he kissed her head and rocked her back and forth as she cried into his chest.

I started the car and pulled out into the street, unsure of where I was. I drove until I hit a light and recognized where we were, not wanting to have to ask.

I kept glancing in the rear view to watch Harry soothe Gemma, gently rubbing her back and reassuring her that she was safe. He was so loving and gentle towards her, it was clear that she meant the world to him. I had never seen him like that, he was usually either completely unreadable or smiling and joking around. He had been affectionate with me from time to time, but nowhere near that level.
