"Because, I had another call."

"That's a lie."

"Okay."

"Why don't you ever get angry? You're always calm and cool."

"Flattered."

"See, calm again."

"I think the only time you've ever showed any other emotion was the day when I called you 'Sapphire'. Yeah."

"Probably because no one has called me, Sapphire before."

"Well, I don't find that hard to believe."

"You could be called, Diamond, you still won't crack. Literally. Diamond is super hard to cut."

"Don't you have some homework to do?"

"No, I did it before I called."

The line was silent for a couple of moments before Avery decided to cut the silence.

"Why do you have those silent moments? Are you thinking?"

"You could say that."

"What are you thinking about?"

"Can't say."

"And why is that?"

"Hotline rules."

"Well, since I tell you a lot of things, can't you give me the slightest hint of what you're thinking about?"

Again, the line was silent as Sapphire didn't respond, Avery was starting to get curious.
