Aliens Of London Pt. 1

{Y/N} walks into the control room to see the Doctor and Rose heading towards the TARDIS doors.

"Doctor!" she calls, he turns and raises his eyebrows, she holds out her hand whatever she was holding started to glow a soft yellow, the Doctor sighs walking over to her.

"I thought I had it!" he defends as he looks at {Y/N}, she shakes her head and puts it in his jacket pocket.

"There, now you can't say you forgot the key" she says moving around him and walking towards Rose who stood at the doors waiting, {Y/N} pushes the doors open and lets Rose walk out first.

"How long have I been gone?" Rose asks, the Doctor pops his head out of the doors.

"About twelve hours" he says, Rose nods.

"Oh. Right, I won't be long. I just want to see my mum."

"What're you going to tell her?" {Y/N} asks, Rose looks at her to see she's leaning against the TARDIS with her arms crossed.

"I don't know. I've been to the year five billion and only been gone, what, twelve hours? No, I'll just tell her I spent the night at Shareen's. See you two later" Rose starts to walk off before turning around "oh, don't you disappear either."

"We won't, I promise!" {Y/N} shouts laughing as Rose runs off "ah, I like her. She more fun then you sometimes, Doctor" the Doctor gasps.

"How dare you" he says a smile making its way onto his face, {Y/N} goes to turn to him but spots an old poster a few feet away stuck on a concrete pillar, she walks over to it and looks at it in horror she rips the poster off letting it fall to the ground and starts running "{Y/N}!" the Doctor goes to run after her but stops as he steps on the poster she was holding his eyes scan over it and he looks up turning back to the TARDIS to see a boy spray painting the side of it.

"Oi!" he shouts the boy looks up his eyes wide and drops the can.

Last seen on the Powell Estate since 6th of March 2005

{Y/N} runs into Rose's apartment out of breath to see her and her mum Jackie hugging, they pull away and look at her.

"It's not twelve hours, it's twelve months. You've been gone a whole year" Rose looks at {Y/N} then back at her mum "I'm sorry."

*Time Skip*

"That's what I was doing, I was traveling" Rose says from her spot on the couch, {Y/N} stands behind the couch with her arms crossed.

"When your passport's still in the drawer? It's just one lie after another" her mum says.

"I meant to phone. I really did. I just forgot."

"What, for a year? You forgot for a year? And I'm left sitting here. I just don't believe you. Why won't you tell me where you've been?"

"Actually" {Y/N} says butting in "it's my fault. I sort or er, employed Rose as my companion."

"When you say companion, is this a sexual relationship" Rose and {Y/N} scrunch their faces and speak in unison.

"No" the police scribbles something down on his notepad.

"Then what is it? Because you, you waltz in here all charm and smiles, and the next thing I know, she vanishes off the face of the Erath! How old are you then? Forty? Forty-five? What, did you find her on the internet? And that friend of yours did he go online and pretend he's a doctor?"

"He is a Doctor" {Y/N} replies, Rose's mum walks up to {Y/N} and looks up at her.

"Well, I'd like him to Stitch this!" Jackie goes to slap her but {Y/N} quickly bring up her hand catching Jackie's mid-air.

"Don't  try and slap me again, I'd really appreciate that" {Y/N} whispers looking Jackie in the eyes, she lets go of Jackie's hand and turns to Rose and nods before walking out.

*Time Skip*

{Y/N} sits on the roof of the apartment building working on her Sonic Screwdriver, her legs dangling over the side, that's when Rose comes up and sits down next to her, the two are silent for a moment before Rose speaks up.

"I can't tell her. I can't even begin. She's never going to forgive me. And I missed a year. Was it good?" Rose asks.

"Middling" {Y/N} replies, Rose rolls her eyes and smiles.

"You're so useless" {Y/N} laughs quietly and looks at Rose.

"Well, if it's this much trouble, are you going to stay here now?"

"I don't know. I can't do that to her again, though."

"I mean, I wouldn't mind her coming along, but the Doctor doesn't do families."

"How are you fine with her coming along? She almost slapped you" {Y/N} places her Sonic back in her pocket and turns to Rose.

"I'm going to ask you a question, and be honest, how old do I look to you?" Rose raises an eyebrow and looks at {Y/N} for a moment.

"Twenty-nine?" she says, {Y/N} nods laughing a little.

"Nine hundred years of time and space, and I've never been called twenty-nine" Rose looks at her for a moment.

"When you say nine hundred years what does that mean?"

"Ah, that's my age, same with the Doctor."

"You're nine hundred years old?" Rose asks.

"Yep" {Y/N} replies popping the 'p', Rose sighs.

"My mum was right. That's one hell of an age gap. Every conversation with either you or the Doctor just goes mental. There's no one else I can talk to. I've seen all that stuff up there, the size of it, and I can't say a word. Aliens and spaceships and things, and I'm the only person on planet Earth who knows they exist" that's when a deep horn and a spaceship, trailing with black smoke passes overhead, takes out the Clock Tower and then Big Ben chimes once as the spaceship crashes into the river, {Y/N} and Rose look at each other with smiles, {Y/N} quickly gets up and Rose follows "can I just say that not fair!" Rose shouts chasing after {Y/N}.
