"This, I take it, is the famous Endeavour" Victoria says pointing to a massive bronze telescope, Robert nods.

"All my father's work. Built by hand in his final years. Became something of an obsession. He spent his money on this rather than caring for the house or himself."

"I wish I'd met him. I like him. That thing's beautiful. Can I?" the Doctor asks.

"Help yourself" Robert shrugs.

"What did he model it on?" {Y/N} asks.

"I know nothing about it. To be honest, most of us thought him a little, shall we say, eccentric. I wish now I'd spent more time with him and listened to his stories."

"It's a bit rubbish. How many prisms has it got? Way too many. The magnification's gone right over the top. That's stupid kind of..." he looks to {Y/N} and Rose "am I being rude again?"

"Yep."

"But it's pretty. It's very pretty" {Y/N} replies.

"And the imagination of it should be applauded" Robert says.

"Mmm. Thought you might disapprove, Your Majesty. Stargazing. Isn't that a bit fanciful? You could easily not be amused, or something? No?" Rose asks.

"This device surveys the infinite work of God. What could be finer? Sir Robert's father was an example to us all. A polymath, steeped in astronomy and sciences, yet equally well versed in folklore and fairy tales."

"Stars and magic. I like him more and more" the Doctor says.

"Oh, my late husband enjoyed his company. Prince Albert himself was acquainted with many rural superstitions, coming as he did from Saxe Coburg."

"That's Bavaria."

"When Albert was told about your local wolf, he was transported."

"So, what's this wolf, then?" {Y/N} asks.

"It's just a story" Robert says shaking his head.

"Then tell it."

"It's said that..."

"Excuse me, sir. Perhaps her Majesty's party could repair to their rooms. It's almost dark."

"Of course. Yes, of course" Robert stutters.

"And then supper. And could we find some clothes for Miss Tyler? I'm tired of nakedness, {Y/N}, your fine."

"Oh, I can change..." Victoria puts her hand up a small smile on her face.

"It's fine, really."

"It's not amusing, is it?"

"Sir Robert, your wife must have left some clothes. See to it. We shall dine at seven, and talk some more of this wolf. After all, there is a full moon tonight."

"So, there is, Ma'am."

*Time skip*

{Y/N} stands in the room that had been given to her and the Doctor, she digs around in her pocket and pulls of a pair of leggings and pulls them on, the Doctor raises an eyebrow.

"What? You can never not be prepared" she says, the Doctor chuckles quietly.

"Your quite right there, love" he smiles putting out his arm "shall we?"

"We shall" she takes his arm and they both walk to the dining room.

"Your companion begs an apology, Doctor. Her clothing has somewhat delayed her..." a man says as they walk into the dining room.

"Oh, that's all right. Save her a wee bit of ham" the Doctor replies as he pulls out {Y/N}'s chair for her, she nods smiling as he sits beside her.
