"Come on let's go," Jason said waking Mac up, it was the next day and Mac had been asleep for about 19 hours.

"Where are we going?" Mac said rubbing her eyes.

"To the mall or park, or both," Jason replied. Mac smiled but look down at her clothes, she was still in the clothes from the yard.

"Let me change and I'll meet you in the kitchen." Mac said. She looked through her closet and wasn't happy with anything she had to wear. If she was going to the mall then a dress would be nice, but if she went to the park jean would be good as well. She couldn't tell what she wanted to wear and she didn't know why this morning it mattered so much.

"Mac, come on," Jason shouted from the kitchen. She threw on a pair of black jeans, a black shirt, and her combat boots.

"One more moment," Mac said rushing into the bathroom, she brushed her teeth and threw on a little bit of makeup. Probably the first time she has in a month.

"Why are you so slow," Jason said walking into her room. "Wow," Jason said looking her up and down.

"What? Too much black?" Mac said looking down uncomfortable.

"No actually, you just look really good," Jason said smiling at her, his cheeks going a bit pink.

"Thanks," Mac said giving herself one more look in the mirror. Her brown hair fell now below her shoulders and she was hoping that it would continue to grow as fast at it has. "Are the others ready?" Mac said.

"No, actually it will just be us two," Jason said.

"Oh, great," Mac said, a slight pink running along her cheek. "Um, let's go," Mac said heading out the door trying to hide her blush.

They ended up taking Katie's car because it was a bit smaller and easier to park at the mall. She didn't mind, Trent and Katie had the day off so they were going to the lake with John.

"So what do you want to listen to?" Jason said pulling out of the driveway.

"Really like you don't know," Mac said giving him a small shove.

"Good point." Jason said blasting EDM over the radio. Mac started dancing the best she could in the car and Jason joined in with one hand. Mac couldn't help but laugh at how cute he looked while trying to dance, he was just that bad at it. "You know you love my dance moves." Jason said pulling into the parking lot.

"Of course I do." Mac said, she pushed open the door walking around the car to find Jason waiting. His cheeks were pink, but he smiled.

He has liked Mac from the start, how fierce and brave she looked while ready to attack them at the lake. He did his best not look at her body, not wanting to taking advantage of her, even by just looking. When she disappeared with Zane, he vowed that he would try to be something more than a friend with her. That is if she was ready.

They walked through the mall for hours, just perusing through the shops. Mac got a couple of shirts and so did Jason, but they didn't buy much.

"I think it might be time to head back," Jason said, it was around dinner time and he knew Mac would want to have dinner with the group. They drove home blasting music and dancing to it once again. It wasn't until they pulled into the driveway that she finally spoke.

"Thanks for a great day," Mac said, .she went to grab his hand but he pulled away placing it on the steering wheel.

Mac looked down with disappointment.

"Um, ya great day." Jason said trying to smile, she nodded her head getting out the car, grabbing her bags from the back. He watched her through the side window walk into the house and he couldn't help but lightly dropped his head on the steering wheel with disappointment.
