Phil's P.O.V.

Dan looked at me, eyes wide with happiness. Jay had been reluctant to let us touch her, hugging the only thing she would let us do. I kissed him, and after we were sure that Jay was asleep, I moved to the other side of the couch and let Dan rest his head on my shoulder.

With the television still on, we never bothered to turn it off, I took Jay's phone and continued to set it up for her, without having to explain everything to her. I never quite understood how much she really didn't know, how much living on the street had ripped her away from a normal life.

She had shown a lot of interest in Tumblr, even though she didn't know how to work it, at all.

I looked down at her, fast asleep on Dan's lap, her hair falling in her eye. Dan was rubbing her shoulder gently with his knuckles, mostly for comfort I think but he looked on the verge of falling asleep himself and I started to get worried.

"Are you feeling okay Dan?" He shrugged his shoulders.

"Yeah, just tired I think." He was cut off in the middle of his sentence by a huge yawn and he lay down behind Jay on the couch, his head resting on my shoulder. I gave him a quick peck on his cheek and he giggled, catching my hand and pushing it away.

"You can sleep if you want, we aren't doing anything later." He nodded and pulled the blanket, which he had stolen off me before, and pulled it up further so it covered both him and Jay, then moved his head down onto my lap and closing his eyes.

I went back to Jay's phone, doing everything you would normally do when someone got a phone for the first time, using mostly my detail for the important things and everything that needed to paid for.

It didn't take too long, I had already done most of what I needed too so I opened my laptop, which had been sitting on the arm of the couch and turned it on, Tumblr being my immediate go to.

I looked down at the small stickers in the bottom right corner of the screen, a sticker of a bear which Dan had placed there and then a little red love heart right next to it. They had been there for a long time, a few years at least and many of the fans had picked up on them, but I didn't bother to remove them.

I ran my hand over them and smiled, my laptop had somehow managed to survive so much and had so much meaning for me. It was still covered in covered in other stickers, many of which Dan had chosen himself because he thought they looked cool.

Looking down at Dan, who was fast asleep next to Jay and his head still resting on my lap, I smiled. I had noticed small changes in Dan once he had told the fans about his depression, and it was amazing. He woke up smiling most mornings and didn't have as many bad days, which I was amazingly thankful for.

We both hated the bad days, Dan called them the dark days and it was the times when he couldn't do anything. He would lie in his bed, sometimes for days, and he wouldn't sleep, he wouldn't eat, he wouldn't do anything. I always tried to get him out of bed and we would just lie on couch, Dan quite often falling asleep on me.

When he was on the anti-depressants he gained quite a bit of weight and he hated it. Even if it wasn't one of the really bad days, sometimes he just wouldn't eat, trying to get rid of the weight he had gained. I really didn't want to force him to eat, but if it came to it, I did.

Looking down at down at him now, it was plainly obvious how much he had improved. He had lost a little bit of weight, but I think it was because he was off the pills, he was exercising regularly, which he dragged me into most days and he was eating more healthy, and he looked happy.

My vision slid across to Jay, who hadn't moved an inch since she had fallen asleep. She really was tiny, maybe just 5 feet tall and quite skinny, I suppose from the lack of food, but she looked very fit. I could see her arms from where I was sitting and they looked very muscled and she held herself in such a way that made her seem very powerful, even if she didn't look it.

-----------------------------------------

I heard a groan from beside me and looked down to see Dan stirring sleepily and stretching his arms. I paused the television show I was watching and pushed myself into a sitting position so I could pull Dan up further and he could wake up properly.

"You feeling better?" He nodded and nuzzled his head into my chest, laughing when I poked him off me and onto my lap.

He looked down at Jay and smiled when he saw her still asleep, her head resting on Dan's legs and the blanket wrapped over her head.

"I think we did good." I hugged him closer to me and buried my chin in his hair, squeezing his hand gently.

"I think we did too." I wrapped my arms around his waist and squeezed happily, giggled when he tried to slap my arms away.

Looking down at Jay again, I decided that the couch wasn't the best place to sleep considering I didn't think we would be up before noon tomorrow morning and Dan was still exhausted.

I shuffled off the couch and, much to Dan's surprise, picked Jay up bridal style and carried her to her room. I was able to pick her up with ease, too easily if I was to be honest. She couldn't weigh more than 40kgs.

Dan followed me, his footsteps light on the carpet. He pushed the door open for me when we arrived at her door and pulled back the blankets on her bed, but as soon as I lay her down she grasped onto my shirt.

"Stay." I looked up at Dan, shock pulsing through my veins but he just shook his head, laughing silently.

'Don't bother Phil, we'll just stay.' He mouthed at me and then lay down beside her, pulling her into his chest. I did the same. Neither of us went under the covers, leaving her be but she seemed quite happy cuddled into Dan's chest.

Running my hand through her hair, I kissed Dan on the lips, grinning when he turned bright red.

"We really did good."
