Phil's P.O.V.

Dan and I turned back at the same time, Jay was on the floor and her crutches still wrapped around her arms, both hands on her head. She wasn't crying, just clutching at her head and squeezing at it, eyes closed.

"Jay? Jay are you okay?" I fell to my knees beside her and found one of the boys from the table was beside me too, his hands pulling the crutches off her arms. One of the boys from the table spoke.

"I think she tripped herself over with her crutches, she hit her head against the table pretty bloody hard." I could hear an British accent, I'm wasn't sure where from, possibly around London?

"Jay?" I was trying to keep my voice as soft as possible, even though I was panicking on the inside.

She slowly removed her hands from her head, wincing as she did so and then opening her eyes. The bruise from falling down the stairs was still there even though it was beginning to fade but the one on the opposite side of her head was the one I was worried about.

It was smaller than the one she had from the stairs and less colourful too, but still looked painful as hell.

"I'm okay, I'm fine."

"Jay...." I knew she was putting on a brave face, but I wanted so badly to believe her.

She bought her hand to her forehead again and then bought it back down, sighing with relief.

"Yep I'm okay, just another one to add to the list of bruises I've managed to obtain."

"What? I thought it was only the one from falling down the stairs?"

"No I bashed my leg into my bed the day before, I think it's faded now."

"You really are clumsy." She rolled her eyes.

"I know. I didn't know I was this bad though. Can I have my crutches back?" She was talking to the young man sitting beside her, who had moved her crutches to the ground behind him. He nodded and handed them back and she pushed them back onto her arms and, although wobbly, managed to stand up.

"Jesus Jay, it's been like two weeks and you've already managed to give us multiple heart attacks."

"You're welcome." She gave a little bow before turning back and heading towards the door, leaving us standing there. I ran my hand over my forehead.

"She's going to be the death of us one day."

"Then let's hope that day is a long way away." Dan turned to the guys who had helped us.

"Thanks, we appreciate it." He waved his hand at us.

"All good, how long has she had the crutches? She didn't look very steady."

"A week? I think it was a week but we haven't exactly been moving around much so she hasn't had much practise. I'm Dan by the way, and this is Phil." I waved my hand in greeting and looked around at all of the rest of them.

There were about 12 people in total, all of them ranging from about 20 to maybe 28, there was one who looked at little older but I couldn't tell.

"I'm Josh, and these are my friends. We all do YouTube together and we're known as the Sidemen and the Pack."

"That explains the shirts and stuff then." Josh nodded and then went around the table introducing everyone else.

Preston was the brown haired boy with the fire hoodie, Rob was the oldest looking guy with a scraggly beard, Simon was the blonde, tall and gangly looking boy, Ethan was the slightly chubby boy with laughter lines around his eyes, the next two were Tobi and JJ, both wearing snapbacks and close cut haircuts.

The next boy along was the one who had his head on the table earlier and was introduced as Lachlan, his blonde hair falling in his eyes, then there was another blonde boy called Harry, possibly the youngest of the people at the table, then two boys, similar in height, called Mitch and Jerome and then lastly an Indian boy called Vikk.

I knew I wouldn't remember all of their names but I tried, considering they said they all had panels tomorrow and they might be backstage at the same time we were.

"Phil! Are you two coming!" I turned back to see Jay standing in the doorway with Louise, Louise with her hands on her hips and Jay leaning against the doorway.

"Yeah, yeah, give us a break would you!" Dan sounded very sarcastic but he started to pull me towards the doorway, waving goodbye to the guys at the table.

Dan dragged me out into the lobby and then we followed Louise and Jay up to our rooms, falling onto one of the beds beside each other. Dan rested his head in my chest, his eyes closing almost immediately but before we could do anything I heard the door open behind us and Louise stepped into the room.

"Are you guys all right? We're going to bed now, see you in the morning?" Dan didn't move but I nodded, rubbing Dan's back.

"Yeah, see then. I think we're all exhausted." She nodded and the door shut behind her, leaving us alone.

"Are you okay? You seem pretty out of it." Dan sighed, nuzzling his head into my chest and clutching at my hand.

"I think I'm just tired. Jay scared me so much."

"I know, she scared me too but I think we just need sleep. Come on, you can't sleep in jeans." He sat up just enough so that he could pull them off without any help and then I pulled his sweatshirt over his head, leaving him in just his t-shirt and boxers.

I did the same and then got up to plug in both of our phones and laptops, before crawling underneath the covers of the bed beside Dan, wrapping my arms around his back and kissing the nape of his neck, making him shiver.

"Phil, let me sleep...." I gave him one last kiss before I moved him over so his back was resting in my stomach and he was the little spoon. Even though he was taller than me, we always seemed to end up in the same position with Dan in front of me and my arms wrapped around his waist.

"Night Dan, love you." He mumbled something back, but I didn't hear it.

"What?"

"Love you too, ya twat."
