Phil's P.O.V.

Dan was sitting in the other at the desk beside me, playing with the mouse of the computer while I winded off the recording. We had just recorded another Sims 4 video, it had been almost a month since we had uploaded a video to the gaming channel and the audience was growing restless.

"I guess we should try and get it edited by this evening, we haven't uploaded in ages..." Dan sighed, stretching his back and sighing.

"Are you feeling okay?" He had been acting a bit off while we had recorded but I ignored it, at least until Dan had gone really pale and looked very sick. He shook his head, rubbing his eyes fiercely and pulling his knees up to his chest.

"Oh god Dan, are you having a bad day?" He nodded, his lip trembling.

"I don't know why, I didn't feel this way this morning!" He wailed, rubbing his eyes again.

I moved my hands up to his cheeks and moved his head so he was looking at me, tears pooling in the corners of his eyes. I reached my arms around his back and pulled him close, hugging him as I felt his tears start to fall faster and his hands clinging to my shirt for comfort.

We were both still sitting on separate chairs and I dragged mine closer, squeezing Dan as close as physically possible. His head was resting below my chin, half lying on my lap and shaking fiercely, clinging to me.

"Come on, let's go downstairs." I stood up carefully, pulling Dan with me. His knees were shaking, he could barely stand up and was using me for support.

I walked him down the stairs and back into the living room. There were still tears on his face but there were no new ones, his face looked blank and eyes wide. He collapsed onto the couch and curled his legs up to his stomach, so I pulled the blanket over him and sat down by his head.

He raised his head and I shuffled forwards, letting him resting his head on my lap and close his eyes.

"Are you okay Dan?" He shook his head, pulling himself closer to me.

I kicked my legs up behind me and leaned down so my head was on his shoulder and I could see his face, eyes closed. My fingers trailing down his arm, he sighed and shifted his arm away from my fingers.

The day was a complete write-off, he wouldn't be able to do anything for the rest of the day. It was normal, he had a bad day every now and again, but that was the first time he had had a bad since we had met Jay, over two months which was something of a record and one was long due.

"Do you wanna just stay here today?" He nodded.

Just one day of nothing was good enough.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

I yawned and squinted, opening my eyes. I heard the doorbell ring and tried to stand up, only to almost knock Dan, his head still on my lap, onto the floor. I froze, hoping he wouldn't wake. He stirred, his head rolling side to side for a few seconds before settling down again, eyelashes flickering.

I heard the front door open and I turned my head out to the hallway to see Jay, her backpack in hand looking in at us. She waved, bounding up the stairs and out of sight for a few minutes before coming back down.

"Hey Phil, is Dan okay?" I shrugged.

"He's had a bad day, I just want to let him sleep for now. How was school?" She shrugged, falling onto the chair beside me and covering her face with her hands.

"It was okay, I had history and art for the first time today and that was fun, I'm a bit behind in art because they started a new project a little while ago but it's still cool." I nodded, moving back into the couch so Dan's head was more comfortable.

"That sounds good, do you want something to eat?" She shrugged.

"I'm good. Do you know when we'll see Louise again?" I shook my head, I hadn't been in contact with her over the days before.

"I don't know, but I do need to talk to her again soon." Jay stood up, stretching her arms and turning back to Dan, who was still asleep.

"You should probably wake him up soon, he's not gonna sleep tonight otherwise." I sighed, knowing it was true. I had been considering it for at least an hour, knowing he had been asleep for at least four and would hardly sleep during the night.

"Yeah, he's been asleep for at least four hours now I think and I know he won't sleep. But then again he stays up until 3 in the morning anyway." Jay looked down her phone for the time, roughly half past four I think.

"I'm going to go and talk to Anais, I ment her on the first day of school and she showed me around." I nodded.

"She sounds nice." I heard a yell from up the hallway but I couldn't decipherer it from where I was, so I shrugged it off and then turned back down to Dan, eyes still closed and fast asleep.

I shook his shoulder gently, planting several tiny kisses on his neck and cheeks and he let out the tiniest of whimpers, eyes flickering.

"Hey Dan, you gotta wake up now." His eyelids fluttering and he turned his head into my chest, trying to get away from the sunlight.

"Come on Dan, wake up sweetheart, you can't sleep all day." He shifted again and I felt his eyes open against my stomach through my t-shirt. He looked up, chocolate brown eyes meeting my own, and I smiled.

"Hey you, finally awake now?" He shook his head and tried to bury it again, but I stopped him and pulled him into a sitting position.

"Nooooooo... Don't wanna..." He did look exhausted, I could see small bags started to form under his eyes and the way he was trying to force his eyes to remain open, but he couldn't.

"Are you feeling okay?"

"Tired." I gave him another gentle kiss, squeezing his hand.

"Come on, Jay's home and you need to get up otherwise you're not gonna sleep tonight."
