Phil's P.O.V.

I took Dan's hand, pulling him around the crowds of fans waiting outside for answers. We didn't want to purposely ignore them but Jay was our number one priority at the time and we just wanted to get back to the hotel.

We had kept in contact during the day, both Dan and I had sent her a text or two during the day and she seemed to be going okay. Jack and Mark had both messaged us during the day too telling us how Jay was and everything seemed okay, but it still didn't stop me from worrying.

The fans were pretty disappointed when we told them that Jay wasn't there, we didn't tell them why she wasn't there just that she wasn't and we might do another video with her when we got home.

We still had another two nights before we went back home, the night Vidcon finished with a huge celebration for the YouTubers and another day and night which we had decided to stay for. The only reason we had to stay another night was because we couldn't get a direct flight back to London, which we really wanted.

"Phil? How are we meant to get back?" Dan was looking out the glass doors at the hoards of people outside, shifting from side to side nervously and picking at his fingernails.

"I don't know, I think we've got to find a group to go back with." I shrugged. We were still waiting for Louise, who had gone to meet some of her fans at a meet-up she had organised.

My phone buzzed in my pocket and I pulled it out, seeing a text from Louise. It read 'hey guys i've finished the meetup and there's a group waiting at the back door to go back to the hotel if you want to come down.'

I replied with a quick yeah and then told Dan, who also said it was okay and then we made the short trek across the building to the main back door.

Louise was there already, her phone in hand and her foot tapping, glancing out to where we were standing and then back into the group.

"Hey! There you are! I was worried you wouldn't get here in time."

"Chill Louise, it's fine, we're here." I looked over at the security guards and saw them rounding everyone up, waving to us as well.

"Come on guys, we've got to go." Dan took my hand again and we walked out onto the street following the group.

------------------------------------------------------------------

The hotel was just up in front of us and as we made our way through the doors we were swamped by people inside, many of whom were YouTubers. Dan squeezed my hand tightly, trying not to lose me as we made our way down to the basement of the hotel, which was were Jack said they were.

As soon as we made it into the open room, I saw the group of 5 on the other side of the room, Mark, Jack, Bob, Wade and Jay. There were a few laptops on the table and the remnants of several demolished pizzas, as well as several empty bottles of soft drink.

Mark noticed us first, waving us over just as Jack and Jay both jumped back from the laptop, laughing. Jay was sitting in between the two of them with her crutches probably somewhere on the ground and it was only when we were within feet of them did Jay notice us.

Her eyes lit up and she let out something that sounded happy, like a crow of delight. I gave her a small smile.

"How was today?" She looked back down at the laptop quickly, Jack was still playing on it and whatever was on the screen seemed to be quite interesting.

"Fun, I learnt a lot."

"I showed her the Five Nights games, we played a few of them too." I nodded and then fell onto the chair opposite Jay, rubbing my eyes tiredly.

"It was so bloody busy today, everyone was asking questions about absolutely everything and they were pretty disappointed that you weren't there Jay."

"Sorry." Her voice was soft, low and sounding upset, avoiding eye contact with both me and Dan.

"It's okay Jay, we know you wouldn't have been up to it." She sighed, leaning back on her elbow and curling her non broken leg underneath her.

"Do you wanna go back up to the room? We'll probably see you guys tomorrow." I was addressing Mark and Jack with the last part of my sentence, they were leaving the following evening and had their flights booked for around 8 o'clock.

She nodded, leaning down to pick her crutches up off the floor. As she stood she wobbled and almost kneeled over but managed to catch herself, eyes wide with surprise.

"I haven't really stood up much today, Jesus that was weird." She gave me another smile, a reassuring one and then picked up her phone off the table in front of her, pocketing it.

"Thanks guys, I had a lot of fun today." Jack gave her something that looked like a salute and Mark nodded.

"See you tomorrow?" Jay nodded.

"See ya."

---------------------------------------------------------------------

I sighed in relief as I collapsed onto the bed, burying my head into the pillow and completely relaxing my body. Dan fell on top of me with an 'oomph' and nuzzled his head into my back, his hands trying to push underneath my stomach.

There was a laugh from Jay behind us and then the clicking of her crutches before I heard her sit down on the other bed, kicking her feet up. The crutches clattered to the floor and she groaned, looking down at them.

"That was literally the most socializing I've ever done in my entire life." Dan turned his head.

"I take that you're an introvert then?" She looked puzzled.

"What's that?"

"Oh my god, do you not know?" She shook her head, still looking at Dan curiously.

"Okay so it's like a personality trait, people are sorted into two groups or are part of both. An extrovert, which is the majority of the population and they get energy from being around people? I don't know I'm a hella introvert." Jay grinned, nodding at Dan's last statement.

"An introvert is someone who gets energy from being alone, they don't necessarily dislike socializing but prefer to spend time alone."

"Well I guess I'm kinda of both I guess."

"Then you might be an ambivert, like a mix of both. Too much socializing tires you out, but too much alone time and you get bored." She nodded again,

"That sounds about right, but I like to spend more time alone than with people."
