Jay's P.O.V.

I awoke to a loud yell, followed by several voices then silence.

Scrambling out of bed I ran to Phil's room, only to see both of them huddled underneath the covers and Louise, her eyes wide with shock, standing in the doorway.

I pushed underneath her outstretched arm and fell onto top of the bed, crawling up so I could sit next to Dan's head.

He looked drowsy still, like he had just woken up and was still resting his head on Phil's chest, while Phil was rubbing his eyes tiredly. Both were still fully dressed in the clothes they had been wearing yesterday, although the clothes were all crumpled and in a terrible state.

"What are you doing here Louise?" I asked, my voice actually breaking as I spoke.

"What do you mean why am I here! The video! You didn't say you were going to release it so soon! I thought like, in a few weeks!" Dan shook his head.

"We had to tell them now, if Jay's coming with us to Vidcon they need to know otherwise it would've just been suspicious." She let out a quiet 'oh' noise before turning her head to the hallway.

"Have you seen the comments yet?"

"No, we went to bed right after we released it last night. Have you?"

"Yeah- it's a little... mixed. There's a lot of support, but... well a lot of dislikes. There wasn't any negative comments that I could find, just dislikes." Dan took in a deep breath.

"Can we see it? Our phones are in the other room."

"Yeah sure." Handing Dan her phone, she sat down on the bed beside me and watched as he opened the YouTube app, the video, which they had titled 'edit that bit out' was first on the recommended list, with over 3 million views already.

He clicked on it and paused it at once, not wanting to actually watch the video I assumed and scrolled down to the comments, scanning them quickly. I couldn't read much of them but I could see quite a few supportive words like 'congratulations' 'amazing' and 'support'.

There was also quite a lot of just spam, or random letters all in capitals, most of which I didn't understand at all. Dan was smiling and I could feel Phil cheering up too, negative comments almost non-existent.

"See, it's just dislikes." Dan scrolled up to the top again and I looked at the like and dislike counter, I knew what it meant because Phil had explained it to me the day before. The like counter read 874,299 followed by the dislike counter, which read 3,198.

"That's not bad, I thought there'd be a lot more." I heard a sigh of relief and saw Dan drop the phone, leaning back onto the bed and covering his face with his arms. I placed my head on his chest, still quite tired from being woken up so suddenly.

"You excited to come to Vidcon Jay?"

"I don't really know what it is, I just didn't really want to be left alone." I whispered, a little sheepishly, and buried my face in Dan's chest, lifting it a little when I heard him laugh.

"Well that's okay, I know how you feel. It got us moving anyway." He looked up. "Thanks Louise, I don't think I would have looked at them otherwise."

"Are you gonna do a livestream? The fans want answers, they've been bugging me all morning." I looked across at them and saw Dan nod.

"Yeah, I'll tweet out for one in... An hour? Half an hour?"

"Try 45 minutes, I need to get dressed and have food still." Phil said, yawning and leaning forwards, pushing Dan off him.

--------------------------------------------------

Half an hour later both boys were lying on the couch, both dressed and fed. Dan had tweeted out when the live show would be, Phil retweeting it to confirm, although I still didn't understand how that worked.

Louise had decided to stay, hanging out with me and to be moral support for Dan and Phil, because I could tell they were both very nervous.

While we were waiting they had decided they would do a proper video on their relationship, explaining everything for the people who didn't watch the live show and just being more specific in general.

They were discussing it as we sat there in the lounge, I was lying back on one of the couches, eyes closed and legs dangling off the side. Louise was sitting beside me, occasionally running her hand through my hair, which she hadn't seen after it was cut.

Phil did tell her about his mother's call and Louise looked very sympathetic, glancing back down at me occasionally.

When the clock hit ten, which was was almost exactly three quarters of an hour since Louise had woken us up, Dan started the live stream, nerves swimming around the room.

It was mostly silent to start off with, everyone was too scared to say anything, but after people started to flood in and the kind messages filled the screen, smiles appeared on both if their faces.

"Hey guys!" Phil was the first to start talking, Dan had managed to pull the blanket on the couch over his head and bury himself out if sight of the camera. Phil had attempted to pull him out in the first few seconds bur after Dan refused he just left him be.

Louise and I had borrowed Phil's laptop, as they were streaming in Dan's one, and were watching the chat with the sound muted, so they weren't aware of anyone else in the room. It was mostly positive messages, which was great to see and anything bad passed by so fast I didn't think they saw it.

Many of the messages were mostly 'where's Dan?' 'is Dan there?' and so in, so much so that Phil leaned down and whispered something to the blanket bundle that was Dan, and ever so slowly his head appeared on screen.

His eyes showed a lot of worry, I could see them on the screen but the messages and chats that flew by slowly but surely cheered him up.

"Genny says 'how long have you been together?' It's been... 9? 9 years?"

"Yeah, it was a couple of months after we met in real life was when we made it official." Dan's voice was soft and I could hear his nervousness, but he seemed relatively okay, especially after Phil wrapped one of his arms around the younger, pulling him in.

Looking down at the chat again I could see everyone going wild, spam filling the entire thing. Dan was smiling and Phil had turned bright red, both attempting to hide their head behind the others.

"Cari says 'what made you decide to come out?' sorry guys, we can't reveal that just yet but you'll know by the end of the month."

"Eres says 'what are your sexualities?' oh yeah... we haven't talked about that yet have we."

"I'm bisexual and Phil's asexual and... what did you say? Panromantic?" He nodded.

"Yeah sorry guys, you tear down all of your- um... disturbing fanfictions?" There was a bit of a commotion in the chat and Phil, who had been attempting to read it even though it was way too fast.

"I'm going to turn it to subscriber only mode and slow mode, I can't read anything you guys are saying, like at all." A few seconds passed and suddenly I could actually read some of the chat, the text flowing past much slower.

"Are you going to Vidcon? Yes we are going to Vidcon, which is in just under a month now? Yeah." Louise suddenly sat up very suddenly and I fell sideways. She made a grab at me, but it was too late and I tumbled off the couch, falling to the floor with a thud.

Dan and Phil gaped at me and Louise, at a sudden loss over what to do. I pointed at Louise and then motioned to them, hoping they would get my meaning.

"Well this might be a good time to mention we have someone else here, Louise do you want to come and say hi?"
