i haven't done a happy one in a while, so enjoy:)

sherlock climbed out of bed as it was his turn to fetch their crying daughter. as he walked through the dark hall, he ran into a few boxes, cursing quietly as he stubbed his toe, before making it to his daughter's room. they had just moved out of the flat and out of london, to a house out in the countryside. it was nice house, costly, but it was in a nice area with a few neighbors and a big yard. they still kept the flat, not wanting to rent it out because mrs hudson was getting older and she couldn't take any one living upstairs, and also when they visited they needed a place to stay. rosie and hamish shared a room, so she was used to someone being with her, and now there is no one so she cries through out the night. he walked over to her crib and lifter her out, holding her in his arms. "hey, love, it's alright." he said softly, kissing her head. he held her against his chest, boucing gently as her cries softened.

there was a soft whining voice at the door, "daddy?"

sherlock turned around and saw his son, his blankie balled up in one fist. "hamish, what are you doing up?" he asked softly, going over to him.

"rosie." he said and leaned against his father, burrying his face into his thigh.

"come on." sherlock sighed and directed his son out of the room, still holding his daughter who was now sleeping again. he directed hamish through the boxes and to his and john's room, letting him in. he watched hamish climb up on the bed and lay in the middle, next to his father. john woke up again and looked at his family before closing his eyes again. sherlock got in bed and laid rosie next to hamish, laying on the very side of the bed.

in the morning, john woke up to rosie crawling onto his chest and grabbing his nose. he smiled and pulled her hand away, sitting up and standing her in his lap. "goodmoring." he grinned at her.

she smiled and reached out for her father, but john grabbed her tiny hands and kissed them. he stood up, holding her as he looked at his sleeping son and husband.

"how about some breakfast?" john asked rosie, looking at her.

she nodded and smiled.

"but lets get you changed first." he cooed and headed out of his room and down the hall to rosie's pushing the boxes out of the way with his foot. he made it to her room then set her on the changing table, then taking her out of her pajamas. he changed her, making faces and blowing raspberries as he did. he dressed roise in some day clothes, setting her on the floor so she could try to walk. she held onto her dad's fingers and made it to the door, then john picked her up and carried her downstairs. the house was spacious, very spacious. they didn't have much furniture, but some was supposed to get delivered today that they ordered. he set rosie in her high chair then moved her over into the kitchen, getting some dry cereal and putting it on her tray. he turned on the telly, putting it on the news as he unpacked the rest of the kitchen.

sherlock and hamish decended from upstairs about after an hour john and rosie woke up, both of them still tired. hamish climbed up onto a barstool as sherlock went over and gave john a goodmorning kiss then stole his coffee. john rolled his eyes. "watch the kids as i get dressed."

sherlock let out a small hum as he went over to the fridge. he took out the milk and found the bowls, setting two on the kitchen island along with the milk then getting the box of cheerios. he poured hamish a bowl then himself one, leaning against the counter top as he ate his bowl. john came back downstairs and switched spots with sherlock, letting him watch rosie because hamish followed sherlock upstairs to get dressed as well. when rosie finished eating, she violently banged on the platic tray connected to her high chair, something she picked up from her brother.
